We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Deliciously innventive fresh food was already a treat, but it was the friendly, attentive to every detail, staff that made our little holiday so memorable . The location - Harwich "for the Continent" - is so vibrant, tho this time we were bystanders of a December sea swim, the fresh sea air and easy promenade means everyone is included. Breakfast was such a treat - a perfectly poached egg in a bed of creamy haddock and leek yumminess and all the while the glittering sea shimmered with adventure... as the real hard work of Port and Fisheries buzzed in the morning sunshine. The mini milk churn of fresh milk in our very comfortable quiet room; the spacious Annexe Lounge to chat with visiting family - and the option of an Afternoon Tea cake stand ... just come and see for yourself :)

Lovely spacious room with a great view of the river. Friendly staff and allowed to book in early as the room was ready! Excellent facilities, complimentary drinks and biscuits renewed each day. Clean room with no carpet stains, lots of storage space. Bathroom towels lovely and nice hot shower. TV with sky, watched a live woman's cricket match from Australia! Excellent guest lounge in the adjoining building. I enjoyed breakfast although a bit disappointed that they weren't able to source two days running some avocados for two of their breakfast items although there doesn't sem to be any shop in Harwich! One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in this year, would 100% recommend

Breakfast was excellent, and the lady serving was wonderful. Dinner: the fish pie was not good and was considered over cooked. The Morrisson's pie is far better and a third of the price charged. Very disappointing considering you are a fish restaurant.
