Shower door in room 111 is too close to wall. Bathroom is beautiful and obviously recently updated, but floor plan is quirky. Also - maybe put a towel hook next to the sink? (It’s still a great room overall!)

The light from the aircon controller on the wall in the room was very bright at night.

A beautiful, characterful hotel. Spacious room. Comfortable beds with nice bed linen. Excellent shower. Lovely soft towels. Staff in reception and the restaurant (for our excellent breakfast) were all super friendly, helpful, attentive and efficient. Aircon in the room was a lifesaver on the hottest night of the year. Brilliantly located right next to the river and close to lots of pubs and restaurants.

As with most hotels the drinks were overpriced which is a shame as the bar was lovely. With so many pubs in the area with much more reasonably priced drinks the bar didn’t seem used by guests and we certainly only had a couple there.

The staff were fantastic. Great room overlooking the courtyard with a fantastic seating area.

The only drawback is the parking ,used the station car park which is a bit of a walk otherwise it would be a ten.One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in.

Brief all staff on the parking nearby so they can brief us fully! Hand out a sheet maybe? It was fine actually (we were pointed in the right direction and it’s not too bad, 5 mins walk) but more info on checkin would have been ideal. Read and act in advance requests made on booking.com! One of ours hadn’t seemingly been noticed. It was sorted on checkin though.

Spacious, relaxed feel. Recent fresh redesign inspired by the river and Henley history. Highly attentive and professional staff. Excellent food. Particular thanks to Pauline for masterminding the relaxed and efficient breakfast team. Plus Linda’s flat whites!

Our room had a step in it that was dangerous And our safe got locked shut we couldn’t get into it the staff took 20 mins to get it open and get out our personal belongings which made us late to pick up our daughter from a Festival near by.

The location, and the excellent customer service. We were disappointed with our room (didn't want a ground floor/courtyard room), and though the hotel was very full the staff went out of their way to find us an alternative which was lovely. They also let us leave our car overnight outside the hotel, instead of moving it to a site 10 minutes' walk away. We had a great stay.

Location of the Hotel is excellent in order to explore Henley. Rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast offered is now a buffet with a great choice of both continental and cooked. Home made Granola is scrumptious.

Quality of breakfast and dinner was excellent . We ate dinner at 3 restaurants during our stay and The Relais was by far the best . Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful . Location right on the Thames was ideal.

The one way traffic system can be a little frustrating but nothing to do with the hotel.

Only gripe was the Full English breakfast was a bit lacking, bacon was the kind of odd variety you would expect in an all inclusive in Spain, and the tea was very average

The service the staff, a special shout out to Mark who served us dinner and was fabulous and hikil who was absolutely charming, the anniversary swans on the bed and chocolates made our celebration weekend all the more precious ♥️
