We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Incredible location and my room had a view of the river (literally means Riverside! So many places are a little too economical with the truth, not this place!) Note: you will likely hear water through the night - it becomes ‘white noise’ and helped me fall asleep. The food was great too - first vegan and gluten free dessert I’ve tried on a local menu.

United KingdomThe price of the room was very expensive. We appreciate that the area is affluent and very central. So for these prices we would expect everything to be perfect. The furnishings in our room looked tired. There were long streaks on the wall by the kettle which looked like damp. There were also some damp and mould spots in the bathroom. The blinds in the bathroom were dusty when we pulled them down. But the shower, toilet and sink were very clean which is more important.
The location of this hotel is superb, being in the centre of the village, by the main bridge. We enjoyed being in the thick of things. Our room was of a very good size, after being in smaller rooms in two other destinations. There was a kettle and tea making facilities. The blonde Waitress on dinner service when we were there was wonderful. She was very kind, professional, and efficient: she is a credit to your business.

Lovely breakfast in the morning, we have been to Boscastle lots of times but never stayed over. We would definitely come back to the Riverside. 😊

The room was spacious and warm. The view from the window was spectacular. They provide shampoo and conditioner, along with body wash. The team supplies fresh towels on request . But please be prepared if you have a room number between 8 to 15 you will need to climb stairs. As this sits on the top floor, of 3 flights. The choice for breakfast was utterly amazing. Als they have gone digital where you book in advance. The staff were very delightful and welcoming throughout the stay.

The riverside is by far the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in . The room was lovely and clean . The food was very good and all the staff were a really nice bunch of people. Really friendly and they couldn’t do enough for me very helpful. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there . Bostcastle it’s self if a beautiful place . I will definitely be staying at the riverside again whenever I go to bostcastle or surrounding areas

United KingdomWe recieved the warmest of welcomes from the staff. We had been upgraded for free to the most gorgeous room by the river. It had everything we needed, down to a tray for our muddy boots. The bed was super comfortable. But in particular it was the warm and cheerful nature of the staff that really made this stay the best!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Our room was large over looking a stream at the back of the hotel. Room was clean and well decorated. Comfortable bed. Hotel was quiet. Very nice breakfast. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is a large car park about 1 minutes walk away for the car. However even in October this was busy.
