I didn’t like how the rooms were cleaned at different times so the day of checkout at 9 am could hear the cleaners and it almost felt like you needed to leave sooner than you needed to!

Loves the location the rooms were spacious and lovely! Very cosy and clean.

Room was lovely, but quite small - could have done with a little more space.

Location was EXCELLENT - right in the heart of Stow, and fabulous service at the front desk. Clean, tidy, cute room. Really cute, cottage-y vibe. Parking at the back too! Will definitely be back :)

Ordered warm Moroccan salad for dinner which missed key ingredients (no chickpeas). Order went in just before orders closed and it was like some things had just run out!

Breakfast was delicious and great value at £15. Good range of options and perfectly cooked poached eggs on sourdough. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location central and accessible. Quiet even though on main road.

I booked a premium double and had two single beds pushed together. I also booked a new in the bar stating we were celebrating my husband’s bday and this wasn’t acknowledged at all. Also I would have excepted to have shower cap and other small travel accessories in the room for the price.

The position and the restaurant/ bar was very nice.

No availability to eat in restaurant, would expect guest to be accommodated for and/or contacted in advance to book, if they know they are likely to be busy.

The downside to having a larger quieter room was all the steps to reach it

We were upgraded to the superior room which was good as it was at the top of the hotel so we weren’t didn’t creaking floorboards above us. It was quite warm in the room but quickly remedied by turning the radiator down and opening a window

Room abit tired, eveidenxe of previous water leak. Think the hotel chain needs to support and invest in this hotel as its a gem in the cotswolds and they obviously not paying to help maintenance

Not sure if we were given the wrong room but if this was an upgrade from a small double, then the small double must be absolutely tiny! Paid £140 for this room without breakfast included. There was also a slope in half the ceiling which resulted in many head knocks! No parking available, had to look around lots for a space.

Quirky, warm and welcoming. Great location. Restaurant great food. Lovely receptionist.
