We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe rooms are very old and dated, the bed wasn’t comfortable. The hotel really needs a full refurbishment. The carpets, bed, bathroom, wardrobe and entire layout of the rooms are less than 4* but it was clean.
The location was perfect, staff great, breakfast lovely and the spa was nice.

United KingdomThe rooms could do with better sound proofing, however noisy neighbours were dealt with quickly by hotel staff. The car park is also difficult to park in as spaces are narrow and it's very small/narrow and there isn't any room for turning.
The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the swimming pool was excellent.

AustraliaI booked a lovely refurbished room and was given an upgrade which usually is a good thing. However, even though the room was larger than what I booked with a king bed, the furnishings were very tired and shabby so I was very disappointed.
Breakfast was very good. Hotel is two blocks from the beach. Staff were friendly and nothing was a bother.

United KingdomParking The parking situation at the hotel was particularly bad. Not only was the hotel car park full, the one space that would have been available was obstructed by another inconsiderate user! Added to this the roads surrounding the hotel were rammed with absolutely no room to park so I had to head to a car park some distance away which meant I had quite a walk back (in the rain). Tip: 100% pre-book parking if you can (however I do not believe the hotel saves the spaces for you as it is a first come first serve basis?) Rooms We had room 55 and on entering the room was cold and smelt of damp/mould. As we do not like to be too fussy we turned on the two radiators and within ten minutes the room was cosy and the smell seemed to have abated; however when we returned after a trip out the smell was still there but nowhere near as bad. A little 'off putting' but nothing too serious. We had also paid for a ROOM WITH A BALCONY.... DO NOT PAY THE EXTRA (£10)! This was so awful we actually laughed about it whilst we were there and had a joke with our friends about it. The balcony was a strip of concrete with metal guarding and two flimsy chairs; worse still overlooking a pretty unattractive building and concreted area! We felt it was quite 'Fawlty Towers' like so at least we could see the funny side. Our son had room 60 (single) and the bed/mattress was right up against the window which meant he was cold during the night and awake until gone midnight thanks to the noise from a party that was going on in the hotel. Again nothing too serious but worth considering when you book.
The aspect of this hotel that made the overall experience really enjoyable was absolutely the staff!!! On arrival the staff in reception were clearly well organised and gave us full instructions for all we would need during our stay. The female member of staff was very cheerful, helpful and professional. she made us feel welcome from the start! We used the gym and spa facilities in the morning (07:00hrs) and the facilities were OK. The gym is quite small and a little dated but at that time it was not too busy and suited our needs. The swimming pool was excellent, a great full size pool with a Jacuzzi alongside. Sadly the sauna was out of order as this would have been used by us. Clean towels were provided and the changing room (male) was better than average. The room we booked was a double with a balcony (55) which was of an adequate size, decent size bathroom and comfortable bed. However I will add more regarding the room as there was a slight issue with the rooms. Breakfast was great, in fact better than expected; well cooked, well presented and plenty of it. Once again the staff at breakfast were friendly, polite and very helpful.

United KingdomNothing to dislike. Some reviews commented on some undesirable characters in the area. This is not the fault of the hotel and is a problem for the town itself . We at no time felt unsafe and thought the problem was better than our last visit to the town.
Great location. Staff all welcoming and helpful. Facilities are good. Swimming pool an added bonus. Breakfast was excellent . Yes there are some tired edges to the decor in places but everything was spotless and given the challenges facing the hospitality industry the hotel is certainly value for money.. Room was pleasant and quiet. Bed very comfortable and air con made it a pleasant temperature.. parking may be an issue in the height of the season but was not a problem during our stay. There were weddings being hosted and they caused us no issue. Will be first choice to book next time we are in the area.
