The walls by the lots and stair case to the rooms had these disgusting printed walls with information about the hotel. TBH you have ruined the effect made me feel as if i was in a Travellodge you have turned a nice hotel into a cheap effect. Desperately needs a rethink.

Unfortunately the room wasn’t the cleanest there was a belly bar on the floor in the bathroom a vape on the floor near the bed , pillow stained , toilet was constantly running so noisy , windows think could hear traffic all night , only a couple of channels on the tv The rest of the hotel was nice

Bit noisy outside but it was a Friday evening so that's understandable. not too much negative to say as it was a great experience and as above i would recommend a stay there.

Great clean room with amenities. Bed comfortable very happy with it. the hotel staff were great i have stayed there with work before which is why i returned. i would tell colleagues and friends about the Village and give advise a stay there

Our room was supposed to have a large double bed, but was a standard size and was told that is correct so if you want a larger bed book a club. Room had cobwebs on ceiling, alot of condensation and head board didn't fit - would say room needs updating.

Staff we friendly and relaxed. Bed was comfy although smaller than wanted. Pillows not so great.

Sadly the breakfast was mostly luke warm at best, the sausages were warm the rest was not

met our requirements for a nights stay. Efficient check in, clean room. Easting area was clean and staff in morning very helpful

The food (room service) and drinks (at the bar) were very expensive (£18 for a g&t and a pint) and the food not very good. Room service food was presented poorly, (chicken goujons sat in a puddle of bbq sauce) no salt sachets were available and the food was dry and lacked quality ingredients or seasoning for the price. Some business colleagues ate in the restaurant and also did not enjoy the meal. There was no extraction in the shower room which caused condensation and there was mould on the window frames. There was also not a very wide range of tea/coffee ameneties in the room which encourages guests to use the starbucks downstairs (the addition of decaff coffee or a herbal tea would have been nice considering the room price.)

Room was spacious and comfortable and had hairdryer and ironing facilities which was useful. Room did get warm but had a dyson air conditioner which helped (although this was not adjustable). Access and location are good.

The ‘restaurant’ was awful it was ok if you like sports and lots of noise but not conducive to a nice quiet evening meal where you can have a conversation and be heard. The food was overpriced and poor quality and took a long time to come only to be cold when it arrived

The staff called me prior and asked what my reason for staying was and I said “my girlfriend’s birthday “ they made note and left a lovely card addressed personally to her saying happy birthday. She also received complementary brownies from the Starbucks down stairs! The staff and hospitality was incredible felt like royalty ! Would highly recommend
