There was a couple of maintenance issues in our room, but didn’t get chance to report them.

It was well situated for our Family Wedding the next day. Lovely and quiet.

Busy with a wedding, busy at breakfast, room wasnt that quiet. A bit corporate for my taste. One of those places that does everything more than adequately, but somehow does nothing particularly well. However, I'm sure this will be right up some people's street.

Hard pillows. Foisty smell which seemed to be coming from shower? Quilt too heavy for time of year therefore too hot.

Lovely room, had everything you could need, great surroundings and views, lovely bar, excellent restaurant, great breakfast.

I marked down the cleanliness as when we had breakfast their seemed to be bits of food from the previous evening's dinner on the floor. If it had been swept, it hadn't been done well.

Ideal for us for a 1 night stop over while visiting relatives. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and a wide selection.

Dinner in the restaurant wasn’t to my liking, the food was simple and lacking flavour. Wine glasses are terrible! They were more like water glasses, you must have full size glasses as you’re paying for that experience of fine dining.

Very open area and modern, rooms were nice and spacious. Staff were lovely and helpful.

While staff were very friendly, at one point there were circa 5 bar people all on their phones and music was very loud on bar sound system although only a couple of people were there.

I didn't sleep as well as I hoped because of the mattress and a thick duvet with no separate sheet. However my partner did have a sound night's kip. No decaffeinated tea in the restaurant, and not a very good range of fruit juice etc in the bar. Reception could not provide a shower cap. But the overall impression was good.

Quiet location, just a few miles off M6. Pleasant park and golf course surrounding the hotel. Clean and modern feel. Airy and attractive lobby. Room was clean and a decent size, with very good shower. Dinner was very tasty and good value, breakfast was good too.

Curtains designed and made by someone who believes they should be the size of the window leading to sunlight in my face at dawn.

Reception staff were very welcoming. Bar food was good as was breakfast.

Although my room was immaculate and clean generally, however unfortunately the carpet hadn't been vacuumed very well, I explain, whilst walking in my room before putting on my shoes I noticed a considerable amount of human hair had stuck to the bottom of my socks. I imagine this was an oversight of the cleaner. The other area that needed attention was the skirting boards and probably 6 inches at the bottom of the bathroom door was rather grubby.

I thought the wedding I was attending was well organised by the hotel staff who without exception were friendly and courteous.

No fridge in the room, bathroom needs updating, it’s tired, black worn out grout around the bath. Bathroom supplies very basic. It’s a shame because it could be a very luxurious hotel. Due to the comments above I think it is overpriced.

Location is great, rooms nice and quiet. Room soze was good.

The only negative is that the hotel is cold in the lounge the lobby and restaurant areas. The room temperature can be controlled by residents so lovely and warm but public areas cold.
