Few small things in room would make it a 10 out of 10. The tv in our room was really small for size of room. Also need disposable milks as lots of stairs to go and collect the fresh milk if you forget it lol

Loved our stay at Ye Old Ferrie Inn From start to finished we were greeted by friendly staff who made our stay lovely. We were greeted by Amy, who checked us in even though we were two hours early!! She showed us to our room and suggested a walk for us to take in the scenery. Our room was fabulous, big, light and a great river view. The room had a lovely soft carpet, great coffee facilties including an expresso machine, and fresh real milk was provided in a proper milk bottle from the team downstairs. The bathroom was big, light and airy, and they provided bathrobes, which was a great addition. Getting up to the room was a little tight as a very narrow and step staircase which was obviously the original stairways, but it wasn't an issue for us. I managed it! We had dinner downstairs in the pub and again Amy and the whole team were really friendly and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Our food was delicious and plentiful and again a fabulous river view. Our breakfast was great and there was plenty to eat. Again, a warm welcome by the lady who served us, really friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this Inn, but not too much as we might not have space for us when we go back 😉

Shower wasn’t working but they let us use an adjacent room and had it fixed by the same evening. Beds are a bit small and soft but not a major problem.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food and beautiful location. We also loved the cocktail bar outside for a sociable sundowner by the fire pit.

Should have told people about the very steep stairs beforehand, though we didn't mind this.

The breakfast was excellent - lots of choice and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is exceptional. Lots of parking. Lovely views of the river. Very good evening meals. Nice walks from the hotel.

The shower was a bit dodgy, but likely to do with old plumbing and and the water pressure when everyone is using it. Not sure there is a lot to be done about it. We managed!

I don't want to say just how amazing this place is because then everyone would want to stay there! Ha! The room was very generous and had amazing views across the river. The staff were spectacular, really attentive and helpful, anticipating what you might need. I can't commend them highly enough, an absolute fantastic bunch of people!! Will absolutely be visiting again!

The bed was a bit too soft but that's a personal thing. The electric shower was hard to control in temperature and wasn't particularly powerful.

Excellent location, right next to the water. Fully stocked bar and excellent food in the restaurant. Staff were great, so friendly and knowledgeable.

Our first meal wasn’t good. Had asked if beef was pink but it wasn’t and our Yorkshire puddings were very over cooked. However, the staff quickly supplied a couple of less done yorkshires and beef and all meals the following day were fine.

Where to start! The staff are friendly, and helpful. Actually, make that fantastic. They offered to and then brought our cases up 3 small,but steep flights of stairs and back down in the morning (Its an old amazing building). The food service was great, not rushed and tasty. The breakfast was all fresh local ingredients, delicious and served with a great attitude and conversation. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious, clean, excellent facilities. The views are incredible. I wished we had more time to stay longer. It was truly spot on.
