Being picky , The rooms and corridoor are quite noisey in the sense that you could hear other guests walking and in particular talking when accessing and leaving there rooms. Heard some loud banging from another guest and shouting in middle of the night. Not at fault of hotel just some inconsiderate guests.

Room was clean , en suit was clean, bed was comfy and shower was powerful and Hot. Breakfast was standard English with Vegan and other options onc serial fruit youghurt. Again being picky bath panel had becom slightly disattached and being temporary sealed with mastic but i minor observation and no hindrance to us.

I know it an old traditional pub, but could do with the stairs and corridor leading to the rooms could do with a refit as they Creek quite badly and affected my sleep during the night while other guests were going to their rooms

Noise, but it's pub. After 11 no problem at all.

Nice pub in quaint little town. We had dinner in pub, which was nice. Just realize the rooms are in a pub in the centre of town, so there is a bit of noise till 10 or 11. But after that it's quiet. Good beds, clean room, good food ... pleasant overall stay.

The tv in my Family room was really small compared to the room, had to put my glasses on to watch it, but apart from that amazing. can't think of anything else at all. Definitely would stay again and recommend

Free parking, great pub, lovely accommodation, Staff were brilliant, what more could you want. Was in a great location, the meals at the pub were great and a brilliant price. there was plenty of takeaways and shops on the doorstep too

Breakfast was served between 7.30 am and 9 am, which finishes far too early when you are away for the weekend Also, while eating breakfast, the cleaner started sweeping the carpet about 6 feet behind where I was sitting, so all the dust was flying in the air. This was at 8.45 am, so she only needed to wait a few more minutes before we had finished eating

Bed was lovely and comfy, the shower was powerful, and the towels were big and thick (only one hand towel though, so no towel to dry hair, as we used the one towel to dry our hands after using the toilet) We did not get in until 11 pm, but because of the late bar, he was able to have a drink (craft ales too). He was very happy

The room was very dark even with lights on. It is painted in a very dark colour, which is nice but not the brightest. Two scary pictures of Griffin's above the bed 😆 We were told breakfast was till 9.30 but on arriving at 8.50 was told that everything was being put away and had to rush to get tea, toast, fruit, cereal as the waiter was literally taking them 😆, but he was polite and the chef cooked a phenomenal breakfast. Perhaps tell folks breakfast finishes at 9 am to avoid confusion! The car park was a bit hard to find at night.

The room was large with a lovely, big, comfortable bed! It was warm and had tea/coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom with a bath. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful for only £6 . There was parking at the back. Staff were most helpful and welcoming. The building was historical, and the pub downstairs was handy after travelling all day! We had to wait a while at the bar to be served and wait for a member of staff to start her shift to replace the barrels of beer in the celler. when out for the night you want to stick to the same beer we had to drink 3 different types as they kept running out.

Great place to stay overnight to visit with friends for a get together. Although we visited in January for a belated Christmas meal they bent over backwards to provide us with everything needed. Even a Christmas cracker and a pig in blanket! Being the weekend there was a disco on to the early hours which was great fun for some of us and those that went to bed early were not disturbed. We had a very clean room with toiletries in the bathroom and plenty of towels.

3 people under my window talking for 30 minutes after pub shut... should be moved on when disco shuts.

Massive room and very comfortable with choice of soft/hard pillows.
