“Location overlooking Segesta Temple was stunning, in the daytime and evening.
Host Antonia was very kind and generous.
Breakfast on the terrace was excellent and varied each day, including herbs which she harvested.
The room was comfortable and facilities were adequate.
Although quite remote, there was a bus stop close by to Trapani.”
“We specifically chose this B&B because of its close location to Segesta archeological Park. View of the temple. Delicious bread on breakfast. Friendly owner.”
“Antonia was a very gracious host, the view over the temple was superb.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the view was something to remember.
Authentic building.
Would recommend!”
“What a hidden gem!
It was truely amazing!
We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our trip.
Quiet, serene, absolutely wonderfull!
We were the first ones they ever held a wine tasting in english and they did a great job!
They took us around to see everything.”
“The Villetta is superbly positioned on a hillside overlooking Calatafimi with hills and valleys all around. The 5 acre grounds include an orange grove which provided us with fresh orange juice every morning, strawberries, lettuces and a chicken run with very productive hens - fresh eggs for breakfast every day! It is comfortably furnished, if a little old-fashioned. It is very well situated for trips to the Temples at Segesta and Selinunte as well as the beach at Castellammare.
Andrea is an excellent host, full of local knowledge, happy to provide both fresh ricotta and a recipe for supper. If he offers a half day tour of old Calatafimi, take it up! He is fascinating and seems to have friends who will open up museums especially for him. He took us to interesting parts that we would never have found on our own.”
“Stunning location, good food and wine. We only stayed for one night but this was perfect for us. Rooms very spacious. Fabio and other staff are helpful. We stopped as we moved from Palermo to Trapani”
