“From the road it doesn't seem like much, driving past mechanic shops and industrial businesses, but what a surprise to find a lovely pool, olive groves, quiet lounge areas. Laura is a great host, speaks decent English. Room was quiet looking over olive groves, good air conditioning, good TV, couldn't connect to wifi at all during our stay. We opted for dinner at the agriturismo, hosted by Laura and her father, Franco. Excellent seafood dinner served family style around a big farmhouse table. We drove to Santa Maria di Leuca and Finis Terra the most southern part of the heel of Italy, about a half hour drive. Plenty of free parking in the courtyard, Laura offered the garage to park our motorbike. Breakfast was usual Italian fare of cakes and pastries, made us fresh scrambled eggs, and massive mugs of cafe latte. This is a great property to use as a base for exploring the most southern part of mainland Italy.”
“Beautiful place, room is very nice and it has all you need. We enjoyed a small dinning table in front of the apartment, it felt like a private restaurant with a romantic view. The communication with the host went smoothly we spoke Italian-Spanish but can be difficult for those only speaking English. But host was very lovely and you find a way! I would come back in summer to dip into swimming pool or jakuzzi. In November was not possible of course.”
