Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandOnly downside for us was that there are 2 diplomat hotels on the same street, and unknowns to us we checked into the wrong hotel and then found out we were in the other hotel down the street, it made our check in to our actual hotel a lot smoother though 🤣🤣 they are apart of the same chain of hotels, but just keep it in mind!
You couldn’t fault the location - literally across the street from the train station, a 5-10 mins walk from the Duomo and the comfiest bed I laid on during my trip! Beautiful decor in the rooms also!

The bartender, Ahmed, was wonderful. He was so personable and added so much to our stay. We looked forward to seeing him every evening. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

United KingdomLovely, welcoming hotel with efficient and helpful staff. Although compact the rooms are a good enough size for a couple of nights. You really are paying for the location. Its right across the street from the station and trams to get anywhere in the city. Plenty of amenities nearby and I can recommend the pizza restaurant in the station. All the main sites you visit Florence for are in walking distance. Could not have been happier with my choice of hotel.

United KingdomAlthough the hotel’s location is what attracted us and the Hotel it self was very quiet . The trams underneath made a lot of noise and started running from about 6.00 am which woke us up every day.
We used the train to get to Florence so this hotel is perfect as it is opposite the station and the staff were happy to check us in and look after our luggage when we arrived at lunchtime. They also had brought up our luggage when we got back later in the day . Which was a nice touch.

The location is super convenient from the point of transport - central railway station and the tram to the airport, but also close to historical center. The room is big enough and equipped with all you need. Comfortable bed. Very low noise level - it is really quiet in the rooms, we could not listen any noise both from the street and from the neighbours.
