The cost of drinks is crazy. 5Euros for a can of sprite?? 7.5Euros for an orange juice. We also missed the shuttle bus one day and had to get a taxi, the 7 minute journey cost us 40Euros

The staff were lovely, the rooms were nice and the view was beautiful. The shuttle bus is great too.

An amazing week of luxury from start to finish. Beautiful location, breathtaking views and elegant decor. Staff were so helpful, friendly and efficient. The food and service was exceptional but not overpriced. A wonderful experience and I highly recommend a visit.

The distance to town. There is a path that takes you right into town in about 15 minutes, all downhill. But coming up would be a challenge. I did it the last day for exercise. The other thing is the food service is limited. One restaurant inside and I think you can order stuff at the pool during pool hours but I didn’t see a food menu, only a menu for drinks. Nonetheless it was a different experience than our other stops in Italy and we had a fantastic time.

Property is gorgeous but it is not in town. There is a hotel shuttle that runs every hour and takes you about 5 min walk to center, so you can’t just pop out to stroll around. The trade off is the view. It’s spectacular, it really takes your breath away. The pool is very nice but it closes at 7, I think because they have diners staying to seat at the restaurant which overlooks the pool. The breakfast was amazing and top notch, and it was included for us. Beautiful bar, the staff at the bar seemed a teeny bit put off but all other staff was incredible. Housekeeping especially. We ate dinner once and the food was delicious. We sat at 9 and we were one of the last people to eat, so it shuts down pretty early. We did order room service the first night and it was great, and very quick. They upgraded up to a better room with a jacuzzi which was nice. Our kids thought it was amazing.

The shuttle service to Sorrento. This is absolutely required and the service itself is great (as are the drivers) but the bus is too small and regularly people left behind. You had to start queueing for pick up and drop off at least 20 mins before leaving which eats into your time in the town. Either needs a bigger bus or run it every 30 mins rather than hourly

The view was amazing and the property was always clean. Staff were fantastic and so friendly and food was excellent. Lovely facilities and pool etc not too busy which was nice. Really lovely place

The beds were very hard. That is the only negative thing we can think of.

We can thoroughly recommend a stay at Grand Hotel President. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was fabolous. It is nereby impossible to walk in the surroundings due to narrow roads and lively traffic. However there is a shuttlebus for the cetral part of Sorrento back and forth every hour so this isolation is not to be regarded as a problem. When reaching the hotel after spending a few hours in central Sorrento it felt fantastic to get to this beautiful facility. If you live in the central part you miss out on the most spectacular thing about Sorrento, the helicopterview over this magnificent city. It´s almost surreal to behold the breathtaking sceneries when you stand on the balcony facing the town and the Mediterranean. For this reason we recommend you upgrade to a room facing the city, you will not be sorry. We will return.

I loved this hotel - the only issues is that we did not get a room with the ocean view and that you have not where to easily go for a walk, as it is on a cliff. It is however the only one that has this amazing view.

The hotel is very clean. They had large room for our family of four considering it is Europe. The staff was very accommodating and kind. The food was excellent. They were helpful for excursions and the shuttle to downtown was easy.

Restaurant prices high with limited and choice for dinner. Our first room had a very smelly drain issue and we had to move rooms.

Perfect place. The view was really breathtaking. The garden amazing. The pool, the restaurant, bar everything was great. The food was best that i have eaten and view from the room and garden best that have ever seen. Definitely will come again and recommend to others. Unforgettable experience!!
