Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Really convenient hotel to catch and early flight or late arrival flight in Milan, the shuttle service is really good and worth for the money. The breakfast is various and the restaurant open until 10:00 pm is really a plus.

United KingdomThere were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, that would have been really nice.
Nice hotel and the room was really clean. The Airport Shuttle was really reasonably priced and very efficient. We had dinner and the was really good, great choice and good value. The staff were lovely and so helpful as I managed to omit to say the booking was for two of us. They sorted this out really quickly.

LatviaThe hotel is difficult to reach when going by walk - Uber prices from the airport were all over 50€, and taxis were charging 20€ minimum (bear in mind the hotel is less than 5 mins away by car). We booked a room with double bed, but received a room with two separate beds. Blankets were also quite thin so I got really cold at night. It would be lovely to have some more drinks options at the room’s mini bar than just water. Breakfast was okay - selection of cold cuts, eggs, bread, croissants, fruit, tea/ coffee. I’d really like some more salad as there were only tomatoes and rocket salad but I’m just being a little picky :)
The staff at the reception were super friendly and welcoming. We did not know about the shuttle bus and how to get it at night when we arrived so had to walk all the way to the hotel (don’t recommend this, especially if carrying luggage - this was quite a bit of walking…around 3km) but went back to the airport in the morning in the bus, and it was great and only cost 5 Euros each. Bathrooms were clean, beds too. Beds were comfy. Cakes served during breakfast - especially ricotta and chocolate - divine! Also really appreciate the decaf coffee options. It was also lovely to have a little church right outside of the hotel.

AustraliaThe location of the airport shuttle was unclear, I waited at exit 5 as stated and called hotel reception to double check. But calling the driver he stated to wait at exit 7. I got woken up by maybe a cleaner who entered my room at 9am. I was confused. But overall, facilities were fine for just a one night stay. Not very sound proof as I was kept up by random sounds, I thought it maybe haunted lol.
I liked the convince of the property, I got in late and just needed to stay overnight somewhere close and the airport shuttle was extremely convenient.

United StatesMy room when I checked in was 28C . I turned on A/C it kept switching over to heat . I asked front desk if someone could come take a look at it no one came I think she just write down for future reference. I was able to open the window but it never cooled down until about 6am so needless to say I had a horrible night sleep.
Hotel was very clean . Staff very nice and shuttle service was great .

CanadaStaff aren't super friendly if you don't speak Italian. Got in a bit of confusion about paying for breakfast; they were rude. My intention wasn't to skip paying. However, when I am told "pay next time" I assume at checkout or next day... I was chased down as I was exiting the breakfast location to pay which was embarrassing given that I had no problem paying... It's not my fault you communicated the wrong thing, but they were rude about it like I was trying not to pay. It was frustrating. I get that I don't speak a lick of Italian, but don't assume I am trying to skip paying; that's just rude. Plus it's on their file that it's work travel, I am not going to try to save my company 10 euro... LOL Free WiFi was crap and not secure; not setup as a guest WiFi. Anyone can connect to your device. You can stream to other people's chrome casts for fun. Make sure to enable your firewall if connecting, better yet use a travel router. Speed was not great, you wont be making any video calls and at busiest times checking your email will be painful. So, I wouldn't recommend using it for work... No screens on windows, which isn't great given you have to keep the window open at all times to keep the room cool. So, you better get used to the bugs coming in from the outside if you like cool temperatures like I do.
Clean and new-ish, though there are some questionable repairs everywhere like staples and exposed screws in the wall. The breakfast is good and there is a lot of choices, but it's generally not included in the reservation.
