How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Didn’t use wardrobe ( must change for new one),it is very old with unpleasant smell!! Room was opposite night bar and can’t sleep till 2 a.m.

My 3rd stay. I like that is clean and it is not far away from train station. 15 min to walk to the main touristc attractions.Lots of restaurants and markets near it.

All reviews are true)) Hotel's location is fantastic, easy to find, easy access to attraction, transportation hubs, shops etc. Room is small but all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay are providing. Room is very clean! Staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. There is an opportunity to leave luggage on reception, which makes tourist life more easy Breakfast was very tasty (sausage, cheese, toast, fruit, tea, coffee, juice, cookies, eggs, olives etc) Super wi fi. Considering its three star hotel - it offers good service.

Easy walk from the station and super friendly staff (Maria) who was very helpful, spoke excellent English and managed to give me a quiet room at the back of the hotel. Lovely to be able to safely store my luggage for the day. Quiet AC unit.

I expected room to be a bit larger. Shower is really tiny. Furniture and carpets look old. I think there is no other source of fresh air except the window, but if you open it you hear noisy street.
Close to Termini railway station. Nice English speaking personal. Clean and silent room. Good WiFi connection.

The only thing i was disappointed that the barh cabin was very small . Overall was very clean and confortable.
Very friendly and responsive staff. Clean rooms and the location of course .

Shower was so small our arms touched the curtain at all times. The rooms were really more like Hong Kong doubles, if you have experienced that. Very small. Which, other than the shower, was fine. Just there too sleep.
Location is fairly convenient. Close to most things and walking distance (as long as you like to walk) from most major attractions.

Shower was a bit small but rest of room was spacious.
Location was splendid. Close to train station and close by to the Trevino fountain and coliseum. Everything at walking distance. Room had a cute balcony which had a lovely view of the city buildings. The staff were super helpful and assisted us with holding our luggage while we took a quick trip to visit Venezia.

Great staff - helpful & multilingual; old fashioned rooms but clean & comfortable with good wifi, mini fridge, aircon, heating & safe. Location ok - 10 minute walk to Termini station, Trevi or Colosseum but 20 minutes to Piazza Navona and 40 minutes to Vatican. Breakfast at €10 offered good range but nothing cooked.

A lack of practical amenities in both the room and bathroom, notably missing hooks for hanging clothes and towels. This actually affect almost all hotels. People who design hotel rooms and bathroom don't spend a night there.
The hotel, set in a historic building, provides a captivating Italian ambiance. Spectacular views from the room, along with friendly staff and a satisfying breakfast. Strategically located, offering easy access to the train station and attractions on foot.

Location was good. If you use bus or Metro, it is very convenient. The street is one of the main streets and has many shops. The hotel also was nice and clean. Definitely surprised by the great breakfast options.
