We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyI was offered an upgrade, promising a larger and better room at an additional cost of over 170 Euros. I have been staying at the Residence Eden for a number of years, at least 5 times although not the last 2 because of Corona, as such I have a good knowledge of the type of apartments that are available. Typically I am alone. This time, as my wife was accompanying me I decided to accept the promise of a larger appartement. Unfortunately it was a total waste of money. The room we were allocated was exactly the same one l had previously be allocated, at no extra cost. When we pointed this out to the receptionists they simply referred us to Booking.Com who, although very friendly over the phone, simply referred us back to Eden. Bottom line we paid over 170 Euros for an empty promise with no possibility of reclamation as both parties simply pushed the responsibility to the other. We will certainly be very unwilling to use either party in the future after this experience.

LatviaRoom was not clean. There are insects inside. To take a shower with hot water, you have to wait for 5 minutes. All the bed linen smell with vinegar and first night it was impossible to sleep.

UkraineThe party on nearest farm made by... I don't know who it was. It was very noisy. And the junction under the A4 highway is overloaded on weekend - and it's the shortest way outside the town.
Cute place with the pool - what can be better? We rent a small apartment (kitchen and bedroom) and are very much satisfied. Only the fridge was too small for us. And there's no underroof parking so it may be a problem when you sit to the hot car. But the pool and morning coffee on the balcony is cool. The Mincio river and Garda lake are so close to the hotel and it's nice. Also shops are close enough (if you have transport). And there's free shuttle to the Peschiera Train Station.

Romaniathey say they have reception open 24/7. I arrived at 4 am and there was no one in the reception. we waited more than 45 minutes after repetitive calls to have someone come in the reception. when they finally arrived it took them another 45 minutes to process our documents and give us the key. in the end, after 2 hours I got in the room and there was no linen on the beds. After holding us for 2 hours we had to make our own beds. the facilities are not well kept, paint is falling of the walls and off the wooden structure. mattresses, linen, towels are old and low quality. when you open the door and enter the room, you are welcomed by a bucket and a floor wiping tool. next day, going to reception to ask about wi-fi in the reception, they bluntly told me ‘sorry, this is a 2 star facility and we are not offering wi-fi’, although on booking.com this property is listed as a 3 star facility. In terms of traveling and booking accommodation, this was the worst mistake I ever made.

Finally, the front desk staff is very offensive and will not resolve your complaints, instead they blame you that you mis understand them because you don’t speak Italian.

Netherlands- we were requested to leave a €100 cash deposit as warranty (so I had to go withdraw it, not that happy about it...) in case any damage would happen to the cooking stove, but looking at the conditions of the cooking stove it was surely not worth that much money... it anyway went well and we easily received it back

HungaryThere was no cleaning service during the stay and we did not have cleaning products to be able to clean by ourselves. We have called the information point to ask and they said that we have to clean, however they don't provide the products, and if we leave the house (the kitchen) dirty, they would charge us.
The atmosphere and the view is beautiful, full of with green spaces, trees and plants. The house is cute and comfortable. The balcony is the top. We are really satisfied with the service and staff, they were so kind and helpful and gave us a checkin-gift. 😊
