Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe pillows are ridiculous - so small and hard. Super uncomfortable. They key card to the door didn’t work any time we tried which was a pain if you forgot something in the room or were arriving back to the room late. Expensive for what you got. Noisy room from planes constantly going over. AC in room didn’t work

United KingdomRestaurant didn’t have a very good selection and certainly no gluten free veggie options. They only had limited options from the menu at 1030 which was disappointing after a long day. I had to just have crisps as evening meal! Sat nav took me to back entrance so taxi had to spend another 10 mins going all round to front
Staff were really friendly and it had most things I needed. 24 hour reception, was clean and had products.

United Kingdom- Breakfast was not that great. Me and my husband payed 8.50 euros per person ( I think) for one day just to try it and it had croissants, bread, butter, ham, cheese and few other things like Pastel de Nata but it wasn’t that good. You have to make your own orange juice which I think was unhygienic as I saw people touching the spinning thing of the juicer with their hands. We did miss a good toast with sausage and bacon but, you know, it’s Portugal and this is not the culture, so it’s fine. Overall I’d give it a solid 6/10 for the breakfast. - I wish they had more plugs in the rooms cause as far as I know there was just one extension with a couple plugs. - The aircon could be stronger but it still sufficed and made us fresh in this hot august weather. - Hairdryer could be better and stronger but it still worked. - Wifi is good but not good if you need to attend a meeting when working remote. - Didn’t have an iron in the bedroom but I’m pretty sure you can ask for it (I didn’t use it) and no mini fridge (which would have been really useful) but apparently you can store things in a fridge in the common areas upon request (I also didn’t check that).
- Staff very kind and helpful. We lost our keys once and forgot the keys inside another time and they took care of it in less than a minute. - 24/7 bar and reception and it made us feel really safe whilst having a smoke outside, waiting for food delivery or waiting for an Uber. - The location is in a really safe area (not that close to the city centre but you can easily get a 7 euro uber there). - They have locks inside of the room that you can only lock from inside, good for solo travellers and girls specially that want to feel safer, no need to bring that extra locker. - Bathroom, room, bed and bedding, everything super clean and they have got shampoo/conditioner, body wash and hand soap for you. - Bed really comfy and not noisy - They have got lockers if you need to keep your bag there if you check out but you only leave at night for example. - walls are not that thin so you don’t really hear everyone.

The location is at reasonable price, 15 mins car ride to airport so it’s convenient for travellers who has to catch an early flight. The room can suit two ppl with large luggages ^^ TV is new so we enjoyed sone TV time there. The bathroom is large, the room totally exceed my expectation The staff here were so attentive! The basin in the bathroom seemed stuck so we called the reception to fix it. The housekeeping almost come up at once and they even cleaned the whole bathroom (not only the basin) after fixing it.
