“Fabulous location. The staff were lovely. The rooms pretty basic. A kettle would have been great but there is a restaurant downstairs. We ate there for lunch & 2 dinners. The food was really good. Ski shops close by. Parking free in front of the hotel.”
“Very convenient for Espiaube gondola so could dodge the crowds to some extent. Food interesting and good quality. Tea and coffee at breakfast especially good. Friendly family-run small hotel with traditional French atmosphere. Room well-maintained with good shower. Nice views of the mountains.”
“Everything was great! We enjoyed the stay and conditions were superb on the mountains, even though it was the last weekend before closing for spring. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and cozy. The thermal pool is not far and the gondola lift is close as well.
However I do recommend going to ski station Piau Engaly nearby for a day. We had amazing powder runs there, when in Saint Lary Soulan, there was almost no snow. It is only 30 min away by car
The hotel even gave us two breakfast for free since it was the end of season.
