The parking is tight and limited, more lighting is needed for security purposes. The toilet is a bit too close to wall, not enough leg room for comfort.

The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing, comforting, and family friendly. The common areas were great; pool, lobby, and koi pond are beautiful and serene. My kids loved the vibe. No tv, but still great especially getting my kids off their butts.

I have arthritis in my knees and specifically booked a ground floor room. The only access seemed to be down a flight of stairs. It all worked out but was a bit harrowing.

More color in the rooms, felt a bit plain/dormitory. Would have liked awareness about their vicinity to the airport, though didn't hear planes after 10pm or before 8am.

Great koi pond, Zen pool area, daily activities like yoga, lei making, and more. Appreciate they had laundry facilities on the property. Easy access to many of the local attractions. Lots of little extras like water filling station, free tea and coffee, paddle boards, umbrellas. Nice lounge area with music on the weekends, a game area, and even books to borrow during the stay. They kept the hotel very clean,

I know Hawaii is pricey and compared to the mainland the cost for the room would have been less than half..it’s just the inflated prices in Hawaii and not the properties fault.

the lobby and gift shop areas and the products offered in the gift shop. the bed was comfortable.

Room was run down at the edges. Noisy with street traffic and airport. All of the other positives more than made up for these.

Not enough hot water, you get limited to like 5 min before it becomes luke warm. Early check in is $45. Some hotels don't charge for this, you just get it.

Great coffee and peaceful ocean views. Decent breakfast spot next door. Staff was so friendly. Free parking.

Most rooms open onto the public spaces and walkways so you can hear everyone walking past. Unless you have an ocean view room your window is a frosted glass louvred window so there is no view and the room is quite dark. There is no room safe.

The hotel is attractively decorated with plenty of comfortable seating areas and a good pool. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful which made a nice atmosphere and there was live music in the large lobby/lounge area on Friday night. Coffee and kettles for tea/hot water were provided in the reception area round the clock. A microwave is available and there are a couple of restaurants close by. There is a guest laundry with machines and dryers. It is located close to the seafront with attractive views over the park and inlet.

A microwave in the room would be super great. Some kind of vending machine so we don't have to buy your way to expensive couple of snacks you offer. It's kind of a good way to rape the consumer.

Parking was crowded and tight at times.

Layout of hotel is really nice. Pretty close to some of the best places to eat in Hilo. Room was nice and cool with a ceiling fan we found clutch.

The room felt like it was missing furniture. Paid extra for the king room but it felt like they just took out the second bed. Having a chair or a table would have made the space feel more like a purpose-built king room. The room was huge but had an empty feel. the closet & bathroom area were tiny in comparison & didn’t quite match the room layout.
