We checked in late on September 7th and were greeted by a kind staff member also from NY. She made our stay nice and was very personable. I don't remember her name but she deserves a bonus for her helpfulness and kindness. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and loved our room with the fireplace. Thank you to the wonderful staff member.

A few small issues but would still highly recommend.

Swimming changing areas unbearable with heat it was like a sauna trying to get dressed while sweating buckets wasnt fun. Pool didnt look clear very clouded water. Hopefully things improve if it reopens.

Wallpaper hanging off walls, buckets in all the corridors to catch drips from leaking roofs, damp smell and our room was pretty disgusting. Staff in the bar looked miserable, rolling theor eyes at each other and huffing/puffing. Food in the restaurant was nice but very overpriced. A much simpler and cheaper menu would be far better in my opinion.

Infact they made my 6 year old Daughter's stay. She looked for them every time we went past. Lovely Breakfast and comfortable beds to sleep in. Pool was lovely so relaxing.
