Cook's Bar & Kitchen is located in the grounds of the hotel. This 19th century coach house offers warm and stylish decor with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Catering for a wide range of tastes, it is the perfect place to enjoy an evening meal for our residents.

We checked in late on September 7th and were greeted by a kind staff member also from NY. She made our stay nice and was very personable. I don't remember her name but she deserves a bonus for her helpfulness and kindness. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and loved our room with the fireplace. Thank you to the wonderful staff member.

Wonderful spacious house, beautiful countryside views, excellent location being only 10 mins from train to Glasgow or Edinburgh and right near Stirling and many other lovely attractions, good customer support when we had an issue with the locks. A few small issues but would still highly recommend.

In need if a good upgrade, old and very dated. Swimming changing areas unbearable with heat it was like a sauna trying to get dressed while sweating buckets wasnt fun. Pool didnt look clear very clouded water. Hopefully things improve if it reopens.

Reception was lovely but the rest of the place is falling apart. Wallpaper hanging off walls, buckets in all the corridors to catch drips from leaking roofs, damp smell and our room was pretty disgusting. Staff in the bar looked miserable, rolling theor eyes at each other and huffing/puffing. Food in the restaurant was nice but very overpriced. A much simpler and cheaper menu would be far better in my opinion.

Staff were lovely that were on at the reception. 2 young girls were very helpful. Infact they made my 6 year old Daughter's stay. She looked for them every time we went past. Lovely Breakfast and comfortable beds to sleep in. Pool was lovely so relaxing. We went a walk over to Castle and my Daughter had on her Princess dress. I took some photos of the Castle and gorgeous scenery.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, breakfast was good and hot which is rare for a buffet style. We initially got put in a room that was nothing like what we booked and a quick phone call and the staff upgraded us to the bridal suite which was AMAZING

Dinner was lovely. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Food was cold and very little in the dishes. Not appetising at all. Most of the party left there breakfast as it was cold. Fruit choice was poor a couple of berries at the bottom of the dish Rooms are tired and could be upgraded in one of the rooms the seat was sagging in the middle and broken
