We’re offering a range of accommodation and dining experiences - including the Stylish Rally Bar and Restaurant. Wherever you choose to relax, you are only a few steps away from the beach and there are no roads to cross to get there!

The food was excellent, especially the (inclusive!) breakfast - easily the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The location is excellent right by the sea for walking/swimming and long/easy cycle routes, and next to the train station with regular trains to explore the East Susssex coast. Long secluded beaches, sandy at low-tide.

Rowena was an absolutely lovely host, very professional and attentive. The accommodation was in a beautiful location, with only a short drive to Eastbourne and a stone's throw from Herstmonceux Castle and The Observatory Science Centre. The bed was extremely comfortable with sumptuous bedding, the room large with a beautiful ensuite. The breakfast order was taken the evening before and was served at the time given. One of the best cooked breakfasts I have had in a long while. We will definitely be staying here again when next in the area.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a large quality bed so we both slept very well. The room faced the road but the traffic did not disturb us in any way. Breakfast was lovely and we appreciated the tips given on where to go to visit and eat. The house is a large former vicarage with huge grounds, both very nice.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Big Sky Tipis. Stayed with my partner and one year old. The staff Sarah and Geoff were so helpful and friendly, as was everyone who stayed at the site. Tipis were spacious, well stocked and had very comfortable beds. The team also provided an extra canvas for outside to act as sun shade on a very hot day which was very thoughtful. Lovely clean shower blocks and wash up area. Hope to return again next year.

We had a warm welcome from Rowena who proved to be an excellent host throughout our stay with great local knowledge and advice. Our room was lovely and spacious and couldn’t be faulted, overlooking the wonderful gardens. Breakfast was delicious and everything was well planned taking into consideration the current situation. Can certainly recommend a stay here.

Wartling Place is a beautiful house in significant grounds. It is in the centre of the village of Wartling, with a lovely pub right opposite. It is an ideal base for visiting the local gardens and other attractions, eg Farley’s House & Gallery, National Trust’s Bateman’s, Herstmonceaux Castle and many others. The owner, Rowena, was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is served in a grand room, and is plentiful. All in all, it was a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay.
