The property is immersed in nature, marking you feel like you are living in another era. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a very spacious bathroom and an outstanding view on the vineyards and the surrounding landscape. Breakfast is served a-la-carte and the quality was very high. All the people working in the property makes you feel at home and are very professional.

It was difficult to choose a hotel in the area for long weekend. We booked Sugabird based on high ranking and promise to have enough space for our family. And it was right choice. We liked every moment being there. We stayed in room 8 at first. It was much bigger than what you usually get for this money in Cape Town. After it we moved to the cottage 2. It was perfect for self catering. Host was really kind and helped a lot to navigate through the area. I do recommend.

Fabulous location right in the center of Stellenbosch. Just a few meters away from a variety of restaurants and interesting shops. We had a very well appointed two bedroom flat, which was very suitable for our needs. Service throughout the hotel was excellent from the reception staff to the housekeeping and to the parking assistants.
