This hotel is just amazing, everyone was so nice, I loved having my morning coffee at the hotel lobby, what a perfect start of the day. it's 1minute walk from the Danube river and just across the bridge to Hungary. What a perfect location! I was curious about the hotel name and fun fact it means the Hell, so if you want to have a good story to tell to your friends it's a must visit haha!

Quite a small room (only one chair), but enough for a one-night stay. We used the gazebo to store our bicycles. The bed was very comfortable, the toilet and shower clean and nicely hot. There was enough parking space for cars.
Featuring a balcony with city views, a casino and a bar, Monelly Apartman can be found in Komárno, close to Courtyard of Europe and 45 km from Chateau Bela.

I enjoyed staying in Komarno, as it is generally a lovely town, with an excellent location, with nice history, very tasty food and excellent weather. People are friendly and helpful and there are various things to do including visiting various hot and cold mineral spring baths which are very healthy. I highly recommend visiting Komarno and same time other close by towns in Slovakia and Hungary.

Very green, small but lovely city center, walks along the river Danube or kilometres of cycling path heading north along the river Vah. The city fortress, long abandoned and needing some reconstruction, but spectacular to walk through.

It's bigger than I expected.
It's bigger than I expected. The pedestrian zone is long enough for a nice stroll, and it is decorated and designed with style. There are lots of trees and flowers.
All the shops are closed at 17h.
But we had some lovely time there.

Komárno, SK is a chill little town, lots of history, connected via a bridge over the River Danube to Komárom, HU, which is also a nice place to visit. So you get two cool towns in two diferent countries for the price of one.

Komarno is a little gem of a historic town on the banks of the Danube. We enjoyed walking around the old streets and taking in the sights. We went on a tour of the fortresses and learned quite a bit about the strategic importance of this place throughout history.
The Courtyard of Europe is fun to walk around and try to guess which building is representing which country! There are also quite a few park areas to simply sit and relax and enjoy a delicious gelato.
The hotel is located 30 m far from pedestrian zone that crosses the old town. Very nice place to take the rest after a day spent in the car. The pension in a bit oldschool but freshly renovated and clean. The lady landlord is very friendly. Unfortunately - due to bank holiday - I did not have the opportunity to use the breakfast. But in the future trips I will stay in this place. It offers good price and excellent sightseeing in old Austro-Hungary town.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Full entertainment for teenagers: bowling alley, giant fitness center next door, pool. Courtyard makes it easy to mix with fellow travellers.
The place is such a knock out. An old monastery with its own bowling alley in the nave and the coolest of salons. Plus a bombproof bunker many meters underneath the bowling alley.
The place is so singular it makes up for minor shortcomings.
perfect communication with the customer, even though we had to wait, we were welcomed and served so that we felt at home. In fact, the person makes the hotel, not the other way around. My admiration for all you are and all you do. We remain your customers forever
Most importantly, it was perfectly clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, strong internet, a great bathroom, and the city was a complete surprise
The apartment terrace faces the beautiful garden of our host Monika. Inside, the light-filled apartment had everything we needed (e.g. fridge with cooled drinks) and was furnished with passion for detail. Monika prepared a great breakfast for us on her terrace. For communication in English her lovely daughter and son were of great help. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Komarno.
The location was perfect for cyclists and easy to reach from the radweg.
The rooms were were very basic and despite the wonderful location of the hotel we had no view of the river.
However, the breakfast was superb and the real bonus for us was the local knowledge of the manager in the restaurant who advised us very wisely to take the Slovakian bike route to Ezstergom.
First of all, the location, in Slovakia, close to The Gyor Hungarian Highway(&free parking) in a quiet place, with fresh cool air in the evenings, a pleasant garden with serving dinner outside, a nice and ready to help personnel, comfortable rooms with air conditioning, an attractive menu at the restaurant, good and tasty free breakfast, free and good WIFI.
It still could be the best place to stay in Komarno and after the problems are solved it will be. The property has great potential, it is modern and recently remodeled. We appreciate that the place was quiet since 9pm and no noise from the street during the night. We mainly used it to relax between trips in the nearby attractions.
I loved my stay at the Hotel Peklo. Did not know what to expect from an establishment with a picture of Gerard Depardieu on the website and a name that translates to hell. Clean facilities. Unbelievably friendly staff. Excellent food. Loved running on the Danube each morning.
Absolutely charming vintage hotel. Very large rooms. Restaurant and bar are great. This place exceeded my expectations. Private courtyard and garage for bicycle parking. Great helpful staff. Landscaping and gardens are beautiful.
Location, room - everything is good. Our car was parked in the street opposite the entrance. The pedestrian area is just around the corner. It was a good decision to stay in Slovak Komarno, the old town is cute
Clean and modern.
Hotel personal is professional and friendly.
Price/service ratio is perfectly in balance!
Bed and shower are good!
2 minutes walking from town centre!
Super friendly staff, great location and lovely room. There was also a secure place to store our bikes while we stayed at the hotel. Overall, a great place to stay!
The apartment is clean, new and nicely positioned, everything was for 3 guests but we were a family of 4(chairs, fork &knife…). Convenient location fot Komarno
