Radisson Blu Béke Hotel, Budapest, hotel in Budapest

Situated 300 metres from the Nyugati Train Station and only 500 metres from the Andrássy Avenue. Free WiFi access is available in all areas.

I do recommend going by elevator to ground floor, then walking those retro stairs to first floor where breakfast is served. Children appreciated the cuisine and were impressed by architecture.

FAQs about hotels in Budapest

A City of Two Halves

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.

Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it offers the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.

Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try this than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.

To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur, while based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.

With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels on offer in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes your choice completely easy.

Great things to see in Budapest - every street is a new experience - the architecture transports you to history. Definitely visit the Tropicarium and Budapest Zoo, the Castle District and the list goes on... There are a lot of different restaurants for you to choose from. We ate in Vietnamese ones - they were great! Public transport is top notch but if you are there on the weekend - use you car - the parking is FREE everywhere!!! If you have children - visit the Zoo and definitely their City Park - it's one of a kind!

The city is beautiful and reasonably priced.

The city is beautiful and reasonably priced. The public transportation was simple to use. We went to Prague and Amsterdam too but Budapest was our favorite due to being cleaner with less crowds. Definitely recommend the thermal baths which were great even in 95 degree weather. I would suggest not going at the height of summer unless you tolerate heat well. Air conditioning in most places insufficient.

From the museums, art, culture, music, history, gardens and...

From the museums, art, culture, music, history, gardens and the vibrant night life, Budapest has lots to offer. The National Hungarian museum, Budapest castle complex, Margarita island, Gouzdu passage, liberty bridge, chain bridge, central market hall and so many more sights and places to roam around. The highlight was most definitely the thermal baths, i recommend the lesser known ones like Irgalmasok Veli Bej Bath and Luckas bath if you are ok to pass off the insta pics. These are relatively smaller and more private ones as compared. The 24 he and 72 hr public transport ticket is worth it to use trams, buses and metros. These are different than the day passes, fyi Over all an amazing experience and I do plan to return soon enough!

Loved the city, very easy to walk around (transportation is very good). There is a lot of green spaces, and the city is very clean. The pastries are amazing, the architecture is super! Loved the danube cruise, the view fromt the Fisherman bastion and the buda distritc vibe.

Public transit will take you anywhere.

Public transit will take you anywhere. Buildings, churches, and museums just as nice as in other parts of Europe but at a fraction of the cost. Lots of people speak English and there's a variety of food options including gyros which were amazing. The Budapest Go app on the phone makes the public transport very easy, you can get a pass for the whole family for $15 a day and go anywhere you want. Hungary is still using the Forint (HUF), but credit card works in 90% of places. Roman ruins can be found on Margaret Island for free or at Aquincum with museum. Buildings lit up at night, would recommend a river cruise.

The location is perfect- walking distance to the city centre, near to 2 metro stations & a tram station (from different directions), it’s a peaceful area even though it’s located somewhere around the heart of pest, Budapest. The room is comfortable & spacious for a family of three. Everything is clean including the bathroom. The service is really good & helpful. There are no convenient supermarkets nearby to go to at night (to buy water) but the restaurant next to the hotel lets us buy bottle of water from them.

The hotel is located right in the city centre on the Pest side. We could walk easily to the parliament, the budapest eye and many other atractions on the same side. A bunch of nice restaurants are located very close. The room is beautiful, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The shower is also perfect. I would definitely repeat it. The check in and check out were very quick and easy. We had no personal contact with any of the workers, but I did not find it a problem.
