Radisson Blu Béke Hotel, Budapest 4 stars

Hotel in 06. Terézváros, Budapest

Situated 300 metres from the Nyugati Train Station and only 500 metres from the famous Andrássy Avenue. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. I liked everything about my experience at the Radisson. They had a concierge which is unusuall during the pandemic in my experience... or at least a person at the front desk acted as a concierge. The room was very comfortable and the wifi was excellent. The location was convenient for my train arrival BUT the neighborhood in general seemed a little seedy.

Danubius Hotel Helia 4 stars

Hotel in 13. Angyalföld - Újlipótváros, Budapest

The Danubius Hotel Helia can be found right on the banks of the Danube river opposite Budapest's Margaret Island and offers you great fitness, spa and conference facilities. It was my first time in this hotel, but next time I will use it again and I already recommended it to my colleagues. In the beginning, I thought it was too far from the city center, but actually, it wasn't. The transport is good and regular and it cost only a relatively short walk to reach any point in the center. Even on busy mornings and even in the evenings. The personnel is great and very helpful. The restaurant is nice (and I really recommend the kitchen!) The swimming pool is very good; the sauna is as well. They provide free water with herbs and/or lemon which is very good after a sauna! The breakfast is fantastic and the people there were very nice (even when I was late once). The room was very comfortable. Excellent experience!

Hotel in 09. Ferencváros, Budapest

Located less than 1 km from Hungarian National Museum, MEININGER Budapest Great Market Hall offers 3-star accommodation in Budapest and features a terrace. Wow. Thank you Meininger Budapest for having such a nice experience for a good price. One of the rare hotels where morning coffee with breakfase doesn't taste like engine oil, breakfast is good. rooms and hallways are very nice, lots of activities. I'm loving the cashless experience, all with cards only. And the bed - as Goldilocks would say - just right :)

FAQs about hotels in Budapest

A City of Two Halves

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.

Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it offers the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.

Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try this than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.

To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur, while based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.

With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels on offer in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes your choice completely easy.
