Hotel Steinkrug is convenient to the Autobahn. I arrived on their rest day but my key was waiting for me in a security box. All I had to do was make a phone call and was given a security number and I got my key. I have used this Hotel several times before and would recommend.

They accommodated me with my requests and even brought my stuff up to my room because I couldn't be there to check in due to a business meeting. Location is 4 minutes from the bus stop that takes you directly to the center of Hanover. There is a huge supermarket as well as restaurants and a pharmacy directly next to the hotel and there's even a swimming center a mere 5 minute walk from the hotel. The busses run until late and there are even night busses. The shopping street with a bakery and other shops is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel.
