Very clean and attractive hotel! The staff with whom I interacted were very friendly, although at check in, the woman at the desk (may have been the manager) had her tween or teen daughter with her at work, and the girls asked if she could get a drink from the drink refrigerator that is for guests. The checkin took a long time, and the woman claimed it was the slow mountain internet. I just didn't think it was professional (not the best first impression). However, this is likely one of the cleanest hotels in which I've stayed in a while and offered a diverse and large breakfast.

Located off of Interstate 81, this Middleton motel is 4 minutes’ drive from Interstate 66 and serves coffee now from 7 am to 10 am. Guests also have access to free Wi-Fi.

There was no breakfast which was ok considering the cost of the room. For once the pillows were not oversized marshmallows but comfortable. Room was clean, quiet and on the 1t floor.

Next to the Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Club, our hotel is surrounded by the natural wonders of the Shenandoah Valley.

I liked that it was very close to the freeway and Washington DC , within one hour of Dulles Airport. I liked the very friendly staff, indeed not just friendly but helpful, especially Tabitha.
