The pool area is amazing, with a little bar with nice drinks and food options. The staff was super friendly, always ready to help. Big rooms, comfortable beds, nice decoration. Would definitely come again!

Quiet neighborhood that seemed very safe. Lots of US, Canadian and European expats live in Chan Chemuyil. Keys were in lock box on storm door, so super easy to retrieve. The property is Spartan with minimal furnishings so not much to damage or destroy—something to like, yes? Shade tree in the front yard helped keep the front of the house cool; kitchen is supplied with small appliances, dishes, pots and pans, kitchen tools and utensils for those who want to cook; refrigerator that was cold—both the main section and the freezer; prompt response to maintenance items (broken toilet seat was replaced early the following morning, no hot water both fixed but the trickle of water coming out of bathroom and kitchen sinks was not resolved, I fixed the vertical blinds on the front window and told the maintenance guy how he could install a makeshift rod to control the blinds but 2 others I could not fix); AC in the two bedrooms.

Everything about this property was Simply perfect! What surprise us the most was the quality of the food and the chef! His name is Martin and he managed to surprise us as with delicious food every day. We have previously stayed 5 nights in Tulum (Hotel area) and tried several fancy restaurants and still the food at Pepem was the most outstanding! We stayed at the suit entitled Pepem. The room is extremely spacious, the facilities were very clean, and the views of the jungle were breathtaking! There are glass walls facing the jungle. This gives you the sensation of space while you are still in a very private environment.We visited this place in April 2022 and the weather outside was rather warm. This is an Eco Hotel it does not have AC. However during the night it was very comfortable as we had two fans that we could use. Theere is also very beautiful mosquito cover. That we use during the night. However we did not have any big issues with mosquitoes is there were not so many. During the day we called off in the very beautiful swimming pool which was private. If you do wish to visit the Cenote we recommend asking the reception for a private tour with Manuel Leon. He was amazing! He showed us private Cenotes and we were able to swim in places without any other people. The price for a private tour is the same as the price to enter one of the big cenotes with a larger group. The bigger Cenotes are also beautiful but they are very crowded! We Will definitely come back to this amazing place!
