The lodge is located within the incredible Canyon De Chelly National Park. The lodge is part of the old historic trading post and has a lovely atmosphere that made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Eating at the historic Thunderbird Canteen alongside the locals was something that i enjoyed very much, i felt like I was part of the community. Our accommodation was very comfortable and had a lodge feel about it. I recommend Thunderbird Lodge to anyone visiting Canyon De Chelly.

Great Location and Exceptionally Nice/Clean/Quiet Room. Outstanding Shower in Bathroom. Nice restaurant on the peoperty. Canyon de Chelley Tours will pick you up from this location. Helpful/friendly staff.

The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was very good. We ate there both days--great service too. The location was perfect for visiting the National Monument.
