Downtown - Camere in Centro ligger i Ferrara, 4 minuters promenad från Ferrara Cathedral och 1,3 km från Ferrara station, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och delat badrum. This was my first experience with a room with a shared bathroom (well, if you don’t count living in a student dormitory 15 years ago), so I was quite pessimistic about such an option. In fact, the entire hotel is absolutely new and perfectly clean. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel, two bathrooms. The bathrooms are very warm, everything is perfectly clean, there is shampoo in individual packets. Contactless check-in through the web page did not work for me, but the host opened the door remotely when I called him on WhatsApp. The host speaks English. The location is right in the city center, we arrived in the city late but felt completely safe. Ferrara is a very charming town, there are no crowds of marginalized people on the streets as in some other places. This is a very good option for the price (45 euros), I recommend.

Boendet var otroligt fint och fräscht! Det låg 10 min ifrån stadskärnan och hade en säker parkering. Både in och utcheckning var smidig!

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the property. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and the passion that the owners have for their property. We also enjoyed interaction with other guests several of whom had stayed at the property on previous occasions. We appreciated being able to have a place to store our bicycles. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.

Dopa Hostel ligger i Bologna, 10 minuters promenad från katedralen och 350 meter från Palazzo Poggi-museet. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. Bolognas centralstation kan nås till fots på 15 minuter. Really nice place. Location is really good. Close to everything. The staff is really friendly and can help with anything. Would stay here again for sure.

Honey Rooms is set in a 16th-century town house 150 metres from Ferrara's Cathedral, in the historical centre. All elegant rooms come with free Wi-Fi and an LCD satellite TV. Stayed only one night, but the location is perfect, and room is very very comfortable. The self checkin/ checkout process is really convenient. I hope I will get a chance to stay here again.

Set on its private beach, Milano Marittima's Bellettini Hotel offers parking and free WiFi, an outdoor pool, and a wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath and hot tub. We stayed one night and everything was excellent. The staff spoke excellent English, which was a benefit for us as we were tired after a long journey from Canada’s west coast. The front desk manager was very helpful- he arranged the payment for our on-street parking spot (the hotel also has its own parking garage), and personally brought extra towels to our room and fixed a connection problem with the wi-fi as well. The restaurant dinner was good and the free breakfast selections were outstanding- the best we’ve ever found in Italy.

The staff went out of their way to help with breakfast, directions, restaurant recommendations, and room service We were very pleased with the in-room service, the location and the way they helped us knowing we did not speak the language very well We felt safe and secure in the Hotel
