Looking for properties near Florence Airport?

Florence is beautiful- the historic centre is amazing and full of buzz the size of the duomo is breathtaking but so are the cues. I recommend going to the piazza de Michael Angelou for an amazing view. Opposite the Pritti paleace there is a line of lovely restaurants that are a little quieter than the main roads -we went to one called The Bellini twice as they made lovely frozen cocktails and the food was delicious and freshly made the service there was so friendly and not some of the sneering anti tourist attitude we’ve encountered I Italy at times and at the other restaurant just next door was lovely too with fabulous decor. -they trump the over filled eateries near the duomo.

The place I stayed was great, the owner was so sweet that she was willing to give me a ride to the train station by my departure. The breakfasts that she made was very delicious and at the time I needed (for Tuscany tour i needed to leave at 6:30am instead of regular breakfast at 7:30am) she prepared it for me. Only some minus I would give to a distance from the train station to the property. But from other hand it was a good exercise:)

Florence is my favorite city in all of Italy and I like alot of other places. but this place just as a feel and belonginess to it.. there are times where there are too many tourists, but that is also a part of its charm.. people from all over the world will come here to enjoy the history, the culture, the food, and the Italian sense of the world.. It's has just enough Ameircan for all the large number of US study abroad students who clamor here to learn the Italian language and culture. Tuscany is like another heaven with small city states that have kept their flavor and history and one can drive through the curvy road seeing vineyards, restaurants, osteria on all the various tours you can take from Flroence. Nothing beats seeing the sunset over the bridges on the river Po and enjoying a gelato.... If you enjoy people watching and embibing in the local culture and enjoying spritz or Brunello.. .. come in spring or fall to really enjoy the full spirit. I come every year for my brithday in March .. Fllorence is my brithday gift to msyelf... and I often come by myself to enjoy it fully. the otter magical time... Christmas/New Years.. the city becomes a lviing Christmas tree wtih lights.. all over...

Wonderful city that you may never discover it alll. Just when you thing you have walked the whole city, you then cross the river for a glorious view from the gardens and Michelangelo's Piazza. Transport is so easy to and from the airport and to get to the city centre then walking through the city is your best option. There isn't a laneway or building that doesn't carpture your mind

A great city with amazing architecture. Lots of places to eat and drink. Also good location to be based to travel out to visit nearby cities with good travel links. Would recommend walking up the Dome, wine in the wall and pasta making class.

We just loved Florence. It is the most beautiful place we ever traveled to. All city places are works of arts, words are not enough to explain the charm and beauty of them. The food was delicious at trattoria dall'Oste, this is the first restaurant in our preferences, in Florence. All the streets have a special vibe, people are kind, I can't wait to come here again next year!
