Location and house were stunning!

Great price, location, and friendly staff. Rooms aren't anything fancy but were clean, tidy, and had all the amenities needed. This is a budget motel, too, so I can't complain. It would look amazing when the vineyards have leaves. Farmers market is across the road too, so it was great to go get a fresh breakfast and produce in the morning.

Seednest Barossa Family Retreat is a hidden gem in a very quiet neighbourhood, all you can hear are the birds. The house is very private with a great outdoor area very spacious, a big spa and an 8seater outdoor table, the fire pit is a lovely area to just chill. The clothes line is under cover great if the rain comes in you don’t have to rush home. The one bedroom apartment at the back of the house is its own little slice of heaven with all of the mod cons very tastefully decorated and very private. The main house has 4bedrooms. The main bedroom is at the front of the house with the dining room on the other side of the hallway, there is a door in the hall to close of this part of the house from the rest of the house, great for privacy. The main bedroom has a king bed so comfy a walk in robe and an on suite the shower is fantastic. The kitchen and sitting area is great with a log burner very cosy. The kitchen has everything you need for a great stay the coffee percolator and plunger are a must, with the coffee and bags supplied, condiments in the pantry and other bits and pieces to make a meal, tick. There are two queen and a single bedroom off another hallway very comfy beds. The bathroom has a separate toilet and a separate shower and bath and vanity. The laundry has a front loader and dryer and spacious enough for the ironing board. There is a door to cut off these parts of the house to the kitchen and sitting room more privacy. The internet is easy to connect to and fast. Seednest is a little older but everything in the house works beautifully for a very comfortable stay. There were five of us and a baby and we stayed for 5days very comfortably. Barossa distillery company, Ember pizza and fine wines and the steinhouse are an easy walk along the main road. The park at the road about is beautiful. There is so much to see in this area we will definitely be back for another stay at Seednest Barossa family retreat.

Comfort, location and friendly/helpful staff

Gorgeous, cozy and bougie. The host was amazing. So friendly and the room was fab. Quality linens, an incredibly comfortable bed, great facilities and gorgeous personal touches. Local teas, espresso, a scrumptious mini cheese platter, jug of mineral water, fresh lemons & the most divine bread & homemade jam for breakfast in the morning sun. Brilliant. Thank you!

A brilliant getaway with rural splendid setting. Lovely to have a choice of wine and the tastings at the door step. The furnishings were beautiful and the fruit trees a bonus. Lovely spa bath and well appointed kitchen. The cellar door was a highlight and Tom Foolery wines the BEST of the BAROSSA!

Everything was immaculate, so clean and beautifully furnished

The highlight of our trip. Outstanding cottage full of history and oozing with care and love the owners clearly have for their home. Immaculately clean and with so many little extras you don’t usually find. We cannot wait to come back!!

The team at the Barossa Palms Motel vastly exceeded all our expectations! Warm welcome + we saw how everyone was working together to make it a very special stay for guests. They also treated us to nice gifts as it was Easter! Staying enjoying a cool aperitif under the shaded courtyard was perfect!
