We’ve been to Sheki many times, but this was our first time in Marxal Resort & Spa, and it stood out. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view. The bed was especially comfortable. The hotel offers plenty of amenities, including several restaurants and cafés, shops, and even a bowling area with games, billiards, and table tennis. Although we didn’t have time to try the full spa experience (like the salt room and massages), the pool itself had a stunning view. What we appreciated most was the staff we truly felt valued and listened to. We will likely come back for a longer stay next time!

The room was really nice, very clean, spacious and with a luxurious touch. The bed was really comfortable. The room was well equiped with a small kitchen corner. The garden was beautiful. I cannot begin explaining this stay - it was beyond expectation, like a warm hug to the soul! I went with my mum and sister and the service we received omg I cannot even put in words. My mother who is very hard to please was smitten by Ali’s mother’s efforts and of how clean and well kept the place was, everything was so thoughtful. I literally felt like I went to my grandma’s place and Ali’s dad omg the sweetest! When we asked for dinner place recommendations, he literally drove us and picked us back and also drove us around Sheki, SO SO KIND. The view from kitchen area looks to the mountains and is SO cozy! I will come back again and again!!!! MY MUM WAS IMPRESSED BY EVERY SINGLE THING. Amazing breakfast and yummy tea. We are just absolutely blown by this and feels like family now. 🥹🩷

Gostevoy Dom was a highlight of our stay in Azerbaijan. The people are so warm and welcoming anyway but Vilayet and her husband are especially welcoming and hospitable. You feel welcomed into their home as if you're old friends. It was early Spring when we arrived so the blossoms were just coming out in the courtyard. There are swinging seats and you can easily while away time just drinking in the sounds and sights of the garden. Rooms are impeccably clean and bedding is ironed and fresh with slippers provided. We had a couple of problems with hot water but it was fixed quickly. One of the problems is that the tap is the wrong way around so hot is cold and cold is hot which we didn't realise! But once it was all working the shower was hot, powerful and divine. We ate breakfast and dinner with Vilayet and her husband. The food was delicious and straight out of the garden! Organic and fresh! It was a real treat. These are some of the loveliest people you will meet! Thanks so much Vilayet and Garib! We will be back 🧡

Very friendly hosts, they came pick us up from the taxi when we couldn’t find the entrance and gave us a very warm welcome. They both speak English, remembered our names and the lady cooked a dinner for us when we said we hadn’t eaten yet (one of the best dishes in Azerbeidzjan I tried). They told us about the city, had bus schedules and also had breakfast. Room was clean and nice, toilet and bathroom as well (outside). Very walkable to the old town and city center.

Yaffle Inn is a fantastic choice for a stay in Sheki. It's located in the newer part of town but you can easily walk to the old town. The bus station is also in walking distance from the hotel. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was amazing - you will struggle to finish, but everything is delicious. The hot water in the shower was plentiful, the beds comfortable, and the room a decent size with an additional seating area, a kettle, and a fridge. Sheki itself is a wonderland waiting to be discovered, and you will enjoy your time wandering the streets of the old town with the snow-capped mountains in the background.

The host were extremely kind and helpful.. The rooms were impeccably clean the lined and towels smelt fresh and were super clean . The breakfast was reasonably priced and wholesome . We enjoyed our stay at their place and got a glimpse of the azerbhiajanii culture . Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a reasonably priced Accommodation with super good facility .

We stayed at the Museum Guest House during the Novruz holidays. The host was extremely friendly and hospitable, always there to help. The suit was clean and warm, with a heated floor. We really enjoyed our breakfasts there as everything was fresh and organic (The honey was the best I have ever tried!). The host brought freshly baked bread every morning. In short, we enjoyed every second of staying at this wonderful place. We are planning to return in the summer!

Our stay at Ali Ancient House was truly the highlight of a month traveling in Azerbaijan. Yes the location and accommodations are great, but the real highlight of this experience was meeting and spending time with this wonderful family. They welcomed us like family and gave us great recommendations for the remainder of our trip. YOU WILL DO YOURSELF A DISSERVICE IF YOU DON'T HAVE BREAKFAST!
