NetherlandsThe location and the placey is very cozy and quiet! This is a very old farm house. The part of the house where we stayed has a big chimney. And it was totally worth to purchase woods for it! Nice terrace and big backyard with a field for petanque - nice to play whole family! Trails for hiking are around the corner!
Hosts are very friendly and helpful!
We loved the place and can totally recommended to for an escape from cities' hustle and bustle!

BelgiumOur stay at Parkhotel Villa des Effats in Vielsalm was a pleasant experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner. Our room was spotless and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was the excellent breakfast, which was perfectly taken care of. In addition to the extensive breakfast buffet, freshly fried eggs were served at the table. The hotel restaurant is also highly recommended: delicious pizzas and pastas! A pleasant stay, with particular attention to hospitality. We will definitely come back here!

The spacious apartment looks better than in the pictures. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and even more. The location is excellent and quiet, right next to the lake, with a beautiful terrace overlooking it. Additionally, there’s a good playground for kids within a 5-minute walk.
We really enjoyed our stay and could recommend this apartment for a family with 1-2 kids.
