Joe is a charming, interesting and knowledgeable host. He and Christopher create a warm and inviting refuge for the traveller in this magnificent example of early 1900’s architecture. Their home has fascinating art pieces, a delightful reading nook, and a relaxing lounge room. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed. Ours was called the Dragonfly. It provided modern amenity in a classic style. The bed was sumptuous (sorry, forgot to take a photo). A coffee machine and spa bath were provided. Breakfast is “an occasion” -beautifully set table for the guests to share conversation while eating a well proportioned and delicious meal carefully prepared by Christopher. This was the final night of our travels and I could not imagine a more apt place to enjoy our last taste of Maritime Hospitality. Treat yourself!!

Very impressive that a 21 year old built and ran the cottage. The bed slept good and we enjoyed him having coffee for us. His mother came to lock the gate to keep our car safe and we enjoyed talking with her. I hate we could not see her garden.

The owners did a good renovation and rented the whole basement. It was extra roomy and very clean. The hosts welcomed us with homebaked good. We watched a movie with Prime in this comfortable living room.
