SingaporeI love the service, attitude, positivity of the front desk staff as well as the staff who helped to carry our luggage and welcomed us the moment we stepped foot into the hotel. They exceeded my expectations! This is such as nice place to stay in Zürich. The environment is entirely different from that near the Zurich Main Train Station. The room design is modern, v clean. The kitchen utensils were all of high quality, vv clean as well. Totally no issue for a clean freak like me. They even provided chauffeur service from hotel to the nearest train station. Service was just ups!! From the start till the end. Will definitely stay here again, if I go Thalwil!

I have been staying at this hotel (in its previous forms) for 30 years. The recent renovation was very tastefully done and the check-in/out process was smooth and breakfast, although simple, was good.

Th staff were amazing - with flight cancellations they were the only hotel we could find , and what a find ! The staff stayed up to welcome us at 1 am offered food and water , just so hospitable and nice

We got our room upgraded when we checked in, which was definitely a plus, as we received a Lakeview and a larger room. The hotel is completely new, so everything in the room, including all the equipment, is brand new. However, the sink is slightly uncomfortable, as it’s hard to wash out things that get stuck around it.
The price for the hotel and the location is reasonable. The breakfast was quite rich, they are also offering one hot dish made from eggs. There is also a coffee machine and teapot in the room. Overall, it was a nice stay.

This place is a true gem and Sabrina and Pascal are the best hosts I've ever met (and there have been quite a few). The hotel is full of charm and history. It's well maintained, clean, great wifi connection. Luxurious duvets for our unexpected snowy stay mid-April. Super breakfast, strong, fresh coffee and personalised, connection based treatment as guests. Great location within Horgen too, close to all transport links and amenities. Highly recommended.

The hotel is brand new, well decorated and modern rooms. The bed was amazing! I travel a lot for work and I never stayed in a hotel with better bed. Also I’m really picky with pillows and this one was spot on. The breakfast was really nice as well, small selection but good quality.

Perfect location in the picturesque village, a short downhill walk to the station, shops, and the lake.
Very friendly and helpful staff, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in this historic hotel.
Lovely outside seating area where you can enjoy a drink in the sunshine, accompanied by the church bells.
Attractive bar and restaurant area, plenty of choice at breakfast.
Good sized bedroom and comfortable bed.
We always look forward to staying at the Schwan!
