Accommodation in Carrillo

The kitchen and garden were really amazing.

The breakfast was delish. Great coffee! Efficient and friendly servers.

Great location with views over the bay. Quiet area but has own high-quality bar and restaurant if you don't want to drive out. We had an amazing dinner there, great food. Close to the beach, which was long and quiet. Can buy beer and coconuts from a few vendors. Big, clean, comfortable rooms with air conditioning and balconies, which has seating and a hammock. We had 2 rooms next to each other as we were a family. Breakfast on site was great. We had a choice of a few. Can drive to nearest town for shops and lots or restaurants. Friendly host who spoke great English.I would recommend anyone stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Fresh fruits, juice, eggs. My room was big, clean, very comfortable.

The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. It was close to a local Soda and two coffee shops. Thw two ladies who worked there were amazing, They even found us a taxi to Liberia when our driver who had been booked to take us to our next accommodation failed to turn up. Puerto Carillo has a wonderful beach and is more relaxed and quieter than neighbouring Samara in my opinion. Overall a great place to stay,

Karina and Denis are absolutely lovely and helpfull with everything. We arrived as tourists and left after 10 nights as friends. The location to the beautiful beach „Playa Carrillo“ is very close. Anytime again.

Awesome place, awesome host. Arno and Fran are running an amazing business, with a great room and fantastic food. The breakfast was super tasty, and the dinner at his restaurant was some of the best food I've had in a while. The room was big and comfy with good AC, full kitchen to use and great living space. Fun and clean pool with lots of space to hang out. It's in a quiet part of town, with lots of nature and ju gle surrounding it. Lovely spot, we would return in an instant the next time we are in town. Thank you Arno and Fran for the wonderful stay.

Good room for the price, the complex is in a very quite area sourrunded by the forest.

We had a wonderful stay here for e few nights. The hotel rooms were great and very comfortable. The pools and the restaurant were outstanding. What we loved the most is the shuttle and the provided chairs at the nearby beach by the hotel. The Playa Carrillo was on our whole trip the most beutiful beach of Costa Rica we have seen so far. We enjoyed our stay here so much, thank you!

Super clean, so well thought out, friendly and helpful. Super cute hand made outfits for sale at reception! Everything you need, comfortable beds and furniture. Great location. Gorgeous pool area, delicious smoothies. Even had pedicures on our patio! Excellent all round. Pura Vida

We fell in love with this quirky little spot the moment we arrived. Three vintage caravans have been transformed into the most charming accommodations we’ve seen, and we’ve traveled to over 70 countries, staying in many hotels, including many boutique and luxury ones. We stayed at the Avion, but Argosy and Airstream looked as lovely. Positioned perfectly, just meters from one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches. Several good restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a small grocery shop. Even more restaurants to choose from in nearby Samara, just 5-minute drive away. La Caravana is intimate, magical, and utterly unique. I would recommend it to a friend!

Where do we start!!! The team at peace and lodge made every effort to make our stay so special! The food was THE BEST food we have ever had! The rooms are so cosy and the view from them is simply out of this world! Watching the sun rise and seeing the clouds roll along the mountain valley like a river simply stunning! If you have the chance to stay here do it you will not be disappointed!

The staff were very warm and welcoming. Felt like a family. They clearly take a ton of pride in their work. And they work very hard to make the stay memorable. The location is so good. 5 minute drive from Samara town. 1 minute drive to Carillo beach. 2 minute walk down a dirt road to the ocean, at the furthermost corner of Samara beach. The food at the hotel is good, the drinks are excellent. The pool is ideal for young kids. Several good sodas nearby, and other restaurants for pizza, falafel, pasta, etc. Howler monkeys in the trees in the morning. Geckos for the kids to chase at night. We plan to come back again for a longer stay (this time was 6 nights).

Everything, from room to location to breakfast was exceptional. Nathan and family are amazing hosts.

Great ambience and location just by the Beach. You could hear the sea from the room - loved it! Superb food!
