Accommodation in Caculi

I had an extremely nice time staying here for four nights on my solo trip to Santo Antao. The room and facilities were all great. The breakfast is delicious, local, and BIG. I recommend also eating dinner at the hostel, where they also make delicious and varied food.

It turned out to be a whole hotel-village, where peacocks walk along the street and various exotic fruits and flowers and plants grow. It's like an oasis in the middle of the desert. We lived in separate houses with 2 rooms each. It's very beautiful here, delicious food and beautiful views around, it's incredibly nice to have breakfast with the sunrise in the mountains. There is a swimming pool. Wonderful staff.

incredible breakfast, perfect high-pressure shower, wonderful view

The seafront view from the room was exceptional! Hearing the waves from the window is a magical experience. The room was big, beautiful and clean.

It's a beautiful place with super nice people working here. Surrounded by the most breathtaking views. The food is a big plus! Breakfast is hearty and perfect to prepare for hiking. There's a possibility to have lunch (even packed if you want) and dinner. The dinner was so good, plenty and tasteful and together with the other guests, which makes a good moment to share information for hikes or share taxis. The rooms are beautiful! We had a standard room but booked 1 night extra with them and got a suite. If you can afford it, take the nicer room, the views are amazing and you will not regret it (execpt that you might want to stay there instead of going up the mountains ;))

Everything ! Stunning location . Ocean Suite with view and outdoor shower and privates seating area was exceptional. We dined both nights in the dining area poolside . Tasty & plentiful food with friendly attentive staff . Cruzinha is less than 10 min walk with a small mini Mercado for snacks & beverages and a couple of restaurants.

A very beautiful and well-maintained hotel with lovely furnishings. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back.

Super calm on top of the village Lovely staff Good dinner and breakfast

Everything. The owner, lady Kika, was very Kind and she cooks deliciuos food! Thank you Kika for your kindness!

The swimming pool with the beautiful view. Good room, clean and confortable.

Casa Familiar Por do Sol is a wondrous accommodation, nestled in a beautiful lush green valley with fantastic views. Margaret and her family were just fantastic, making us feeling like home and cooking for us just crazily good food. Everything was fresh and picked from the garden, we felt welcomed and part of the family immediately. Super recommended!

You get an apartment in the house of the owner, with a seperate entrance. There is a kitchen, bathroom, shower and basic amenities. There even is a minimarket that is run by the owner directly in the building. The place is directly in the Xôxô valley with great views from the window.

Good location. Clean. Good value for money. Helpful owner.

The owners very helpful and they even took us in their car down to the village to eat and buy groceries and than pick us up. The apt has perfect kitchen and everything you need incl iron and board.. And the view is marvelous ✨️ The location is simply superb.
