Ideally situated on the outskirts of Colditz, a 10 minute walk into the town along a peaceful road. Friendly management, lovely cooked breakfast, two very nice dogs. Lift to the 2nd floor. A little museum of DDR stuff was cool too. Drinks and snacks available and you pay for them with cash when you leave. On the day of departure we left our bags there and when we returned the man very kindly dropped us off at the bus stop at the Sportsplatz.

It is super nice place! All flat is yours, easy to find, very helpful and friendly host. Place to park a car. Flat is on the first floor, very clean with well equipped kitchen, big bathroom and sleeping rooms. Very comfortable beds. Nice surrounding and they do not charge for the pets. I was there only for one night but would like to stay longer. Relaxing and very comfortable place.

The code to the side door was emailed to us . We let ourselves in and found our room . We never saw anyone until we came to leave and we gave our money to the kitchen staff for our nights stay .We did drink 3 beers from the fridge but the kitchen staff did not charge us for them . We never even saw any other guests if there was any . I was really strange not seeing anyone from the hotel . If I was to go back to Colditz Castle again I would stay there again .

The property is very close to the castle (roughly 5 mins up the hill). We had a very nice stay. The property was nice and clean with most things provided apart from an oven and tumble dryer. Car parking is available in the car port opposite. We weren’t sure where the washing machine was but eventually found it in the basement. We couldn’t get any channels on the tv but to be fair these were only minor things as the property was lovely and would have no hesitation recommending or staying again.

Fantastic location on the Castle doorstep. Well appointed apartment with great Wi-Fi and everything else you need for your stay. Very clean living area, bathroom and bedroom. Communication with hosts was excellent. Wish I’d booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend. Also only a five minute walk to bus stop for buses to Grimma and the connecting train for Leipzig.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were very good and the breakfast which was included in the price was great. We stayed in the Schloss which is set in a lovely green secluded garden. The restaurant was cosy and the meals were very generous.

Very quirky place to stay, the owner has so many interesting items around the whole hotel too as well as a small museum downstairs the room was comfortable and he breakfast was good and secure parking as well

Small but nice room in a quirky place. Very clean too. I enjoyed my stay there. It would be a lovely place to stay during summer. Breakfast was very nice. Hosts do not speak much English, but still made me feel welcome. Location is ok. The walk down to town is not too long.

Confy beds, great calm location, friendly staff, and a castle cat. I loved the stone stairs, the many windows, and a huge ceiling. A true stay in a castle. The breakfast was alright.

1 night stop. The room, facilities and breakfast were great, and for us, the location was just right. Simone was the perfect host and looked after us well. The Little DDR museum on site is interesting, and the people we met were a great source of info for me regarding the times before the "Wende". All in all a great stay.
