We liked the pleasant, hands on approach of the host and the comfortable spacious room. Delicious fresh bread was served at breakfast along with a huge variety of jams and spreads. For anyone travelling by train this is an excellent location - midway between Leipzig and Chemnitz. Geithain itself is a lovely peaceful town.

Very nice and interesting, historical city Altenburg. Hotel was great, clean, responsible personal. 5 min to Bahnhof. Recommend to stay here.

Good rooms and friendly staff

I was very pleasantly surprised by the artistic and highly original interior design of the accommodation. I would also like to especially mention the exceptionally warm and friendly welcome I received from the receptionist upon arrival. The same level of quality was evident at breakfast, which offered a varied selection and was accompanied by very attentive and courteous service. Throughout my stay, I had the clear impression that the staff genuinely care about their guests. The location is, of course, also excellent. I would be happy to recommend your accommodation to others.

Very good great welcome nice staff

The small town has a few restaurants, including a lovely Hungarian restaurant. The parking could get full, but on street parking is also available. Checking in and out was uncomplicated, and the staff were humorous. Room had sufficient furnishings, including ample space for hang clothing.

A beautiful 18th-century house with a charming owner. Delicious breakfast, €2 beer from the fridge, and free mineral water. Free parking. Excellent location for exploring this part of Saxony or as a transit stay.
