Beautiful hotel in the Spreewald, among a network of canals. Excellent breakfast.

Everything was perfect and way above our expectations. The historic buildings are wonderfully renovated, the room we got (standard) was spacious, nicely decorated, calm and facing the water. The location (in the center but a few meters away from the touristic areas) is absolutely perfect. The breakfast is really good and the restaurant (try to book in advance) is the best in the region. Above all, at all time, the staff was both professional and friendly (rare). We enjoyed every single minute of our stay and we will definitely come back - thanks a lot for everything !

Location was perfect, ambiance was amazing and the Karma of the place given its rich history was and is incomparable & unique! And restaurant @ scloß for dinner is excellent

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The receptionist, a delightful woman whose name unfortunately slipped my mind, gave us the warmest of welcomes upon our arrival. The bedroom was both spacious and immaculate, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast had everything you'd wish for.

Excellent Gasthaus right in the middle of Lübbenau. You can reach everything from there within a walking distance, perfect for discovering the wider forest or starting cycling or kayak trips. The included breakfast buffet was of exceptional quality! I will definitely stay here again next time!

Nice location, spacious and clean room. Breakfast was very good and there is a nice playground.

Clean and well sized room. Good breakfast and most importantly, GREAT location next to the highway. Despite the highway's proximity, the room wasn't noisy. There is a gas station 2 min walk away and a McDonald's in case you arrive too late.

The place is just by the water, close to water canals and villages. You could rent a boat here. The room is fine.

We loved this place right on the water in the beautiful Spreewald. The room was nice and very clean, and breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we went out a few times in the free kayaks available to guests. A magical setting!

Really friendly hosts, and great location. Was lovely to be able to rent a boat and get out onto the water first thing after breakfast.

The apartment was very clean and modern with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Communication with the hosts was clear and easy, and the location in the middle of Lehde was beautiful and so peaceful, especially in the evening after most of the tourists had left. Having use of kayaks/canoes provided by the hosts was fantastic - we were able to head out into the waterways of the Spreewald from the garden of the property and spent most of a day exploring. There is quite a short direct paddling route to Gasthaus Wotschofska, but taking the long way round and exploring the quieter byways was delightful - the suggested route between 11-16:00 works well. I recommend planning food in advance as the nearest shop is in Lubbenau and very few of the restaurants/cafes/beer gardens are open past 5 or 6 PM. Also don't be surprised when people don't speak much English - we only heard it spoken by other visitors twice the whole time we were there. It's not difficult to get by though, everybody was very friendly and helpful! If you want a peaceful break somewhere beautiful and unique, I can't recommend Lehdsche Heubuchten enough.
