This place is a villa which has apartments in the area of the airport, functioning as a small Motel. We check-in late att 22:30. From the moment you enter, you find the reception area with a very welcoming receptionist who offered us coffee, tea, and sweets. You can feel the cleanliness and elegance from the moment you step out of the car, even though the place is small. We were pleasantly surprised by the small apartment, which had everything you could possibly need, even dishwashing soap. The apartment is small yet stylishly decorated, with a modern design that makes you feel as if the place is your own. The paintings on the walls and the decorative pieces on the tables and in the corners add a special touch. It’s clear that the owner has invested a lot of money into this place. Thank you to them—the parking garage was free, and the cost was minimal for the excellent services, cleanliness, and outstanding location.

Lovely place. Stayed only a night, but I'd have happily stayed longer. One immediately recognises that this was a lobour of love, everything has been thought about, resulting in both cool and homey design and practical convenience. It's far away from Berlin's inner city, but there's a direct train connection nearby that would take you to the bustle in the very heart of the city in about 50 minutes (if DB plays along). Conveniently close to the airport. An amazing value for money.

Great reception, food closed but suggested lovely italian...

Great reception, food closed but suggested lovely italian 500 metres nearby. Very helpful with bus directins and leaflet for next day and breakfast was great. Would have like tea and coffee in room but was ok. Great they had snacks and drink machines for when reception closed

nobody inform You that the town is close

nobody inform You that the town is close to an organic waste factory so from 6.00 am to 24.00 pm it’s really hard to smell clean air.. with all the connecting troubles ..no jogging and have to move far away for experiencing clean lakes and air. I would have love to be informed about it

I am quite familiar with KW, as it is generally known.

I am quite familiar with KW, as it is generally known. In early April ( my most recent trip) it hadn't quite opened up for visitors. But in the season, there are boat trips, historical tours at the Schloss ( quite interesting castle in the centre) and music events. The Museum is close to the centre and traces the local history from ancient times to the DDR and afterwards. Well worth a visit! There is a small cinema with an interesting programme but, usually, just one performance per day. There are a lot of info posters near the canal/ waterway ( and elsewhere in the town) and there are proper lakes nearby. Walks by the water and in the nearby forest are very pleasant, but, sadly, not a large selection of birds, though I did see a kingfisher in the park. near the castle. The restaurants all seem a bit expensive but there are several fast food places and ice cream parlours! These are usually close to the rather attractive children's play areas near the centre or along the waterway. There are some small specialist shops - bookshop, bike shops, clothes shops, but the big supermarkets are mostly a bit out of town. Travelling around is quite easy and bike tours/ routes are well- marked. You can get to Berlin Alexanderplatz in 25 -30 minutes and so be in the Museum district in 35 minutes. Most trains to Berlin are hourly as is the direct route to Potsdam via BER. So, all in all, a pleasant place for a quietish week, with several possible excursions nearby.

Car parking very limited, and fee charged to use hotel car...

Car parking very limited, and fee charged to use hotel car park, 14 euros a night, despite being a guest. They are very hot on fining for parking if you exceed the time restrictions on adjacent streets if you don’t use hotel car park.

We all spent quality time together which only happens twice a year. Connecting as a family is very important to us, we all enjoyed each others company. We are still very close as a family and these breaks are just what we all need.

We were surprised by how nice the hotel was!

We were surprised by how nice the hotel was! The room was so spacious and well decorated. The bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning was very cold! :) There was water and a Nespresso machine in the room. The bathroom was huge, and the shower was great. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was very good too. I definitely recommend this hotel!
