Big and clean room with good bed, good restaurant with friendly staff.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the location is right in the center, and it’s a good option for accommodation.

Our room was comfortable and peaceful, but we enjoyed being in a pub. with a bar and restaurant immediately to hand. The locals were friendly and convivial and we enjoyed the energy boost of having some other people about. We had a meal featuring traditional German dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Visited with my elderly dad who is not very mobile, and the staff at the hotel were very understanding of this and gave us rooms where he wouldn't have to use any stairs. As we were there during the heatwave we were very lucky to be upgraded to air conditioned rooms at no extra cost - without the air con, we'd have really struggled. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and also really helpful when we were trying to work out our transport plans due to train cancellations and road closures. They were great at liaising between us and the local taxi company, as our German is very limited. Also they helped us work out where to eat in Kleve! The rooms were very clean, and there was comfortable seating provided so you didn't have to sit on the bed. We had a great stay here, and if we come back to Kleve (preferably not in a heatwave!) we would definitely stay here again.

The rooms, the balcony and the boats were very enjoyable.

Great Hospitality, Renate and Jos made sure we do not need anything, a great garden where you can sit and have your drink. Even for breakfast all was hand made and fresh, thank you so much for the great hospitality

The location of the property was perfect, and the owner was very flexible and was able to adapt to make it the most comfortable for us. Lovely stay in Kleve!
