I found the hotel and my room sparkling clean, very well decorated and the breakfast was excellent. Mr. Thierry Marcel, the maitre of the restaurant/breakfast was extremely professional, and I really apprreciated how he worked: with passion and positive attitude, and this translates into a wonderful experience for the guests. Great location...room was quaint and quiet...we had a room with double door onto a tree lined street it was lovely....bed and pillows were 10/10...nice linen. Restuarant was go9d food and good value.Reception staff were excellent....highly recommended for a nice stay.

Had the easiest stay I've ever had. Place was as described, easy to find, pristine clean, stocked with more items than most fancy hotels like extra blankets, multiple shower gels, toothbrush and toothpaste, extra toilet paper, plenty towels, all cooking and cutlery you'd need and more. Honestly I wish more rented apartments were upto this standard. Was walking distance from the airport which was my main requirement.There's also a grocery not even 2 min away that's open pretty late as well as some kebab and fast food in general options just around the corner.

Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS) Information

Location and Transport

Germany’s third largest airport is located just over 4 miles (7 kilometres) from downtown Düsseldorf. The S7 and S11 trains run between Düsseldorf International Airport and the city, with journeys taking just over ten minutes. Another option is to take a bus, which arrive and depart in front of the main Arrivals hall.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

Several hotels are located close to the airport, with one located directly above the airport’s P3 car park. At the airport you’ll find two observation platforms which offer the best views of the runway traffic. There’s also plenty of duty-free shops, places to eat and free WiFi throughout.

Terminal Information

The airport’s three terminals (A, B and C) are all housed within the same building, with a SkyTrain shuttle operating every 4-7 minutes between the terminals and ‘Düsseldorf Flughafen’ railway station. When the SkyTrain is not operating, a bus transfer will be provided.

A nice clean city with great food.

A nice clean city with great food. I really could live in this city they have everything beautyfull clean center, great places to eat a a lot of young people and ther are enough things to do here I was alone and I never was bored. The kanal was also nice you can have a drink ther also. The quality of this city is really good you can see a lot of professionals live here for work and life. Ther was also a gourmet festival in Düsseldorf but I heard Düsseldorf organize a lot of events during the year.

Ratingen has nice historic center with few restaurants and...

Ratingen has nice historic center with few restaurants and church in the middle. Overall, it is calm, but this area is populated mostly by industrial companies, warehouses, etc. Getting there is pretty hard from Dusseldorf, since buses are not going that often and you usually travel for around 45 minutes to 1 hour there. Trams are available which are the best way of transport from Ratingen to Dusseldorf.

Neuss was a nice place, to be honest, I still don´t know if it is the part of Dusseldorf or not. However, Neuss is at the bank of the river and pretty beautiful. I stayed with my wife and two kids, and had a wonderful time in there. I would go there again some time.

We went there to visit Dusseldorf and the Christmas Market, but we enjoyed the nearby nature and Neanderthal Museum much more. Especially the Museum is worth the trip with its complex and thought provoking exposition.

The part I stayed in had no public facilities like Shops. The hotel itself did not have any refreshments on sale, so there wasnt much to do. I wouldnt recommend it for someone who is on holiday. Lucky for us we spent the entire day out in the big town of Dusseldorf.

We were there for the Starcraft HomeStory Cup 28 event at...

We were there for the Starcraft HomeStory Cup 28 event at Take's TV Bar the end of January 2026. The people at Take's are wonderful and it was a well organized tournament. It was nice to walk around the neighbourhood where we stayed and we were only an 8 min walk to the event. A side note is the we were surprised of the price of energy drinks. Only 1 Euro compared to $4 or $5 Canadian back home.

The review purpose was due to a table tennis match. And it was the second time we visited DDF. In July we stayed 5 days, we bought a visit Düsseldorf card and visited the aqua zoo, the museum for free. We also visited Duisburg. I strongly recommend Düsseldorf because there are variety of Chinese and Japanese food which could satisfy you picky flavor.

We needed a place close to the airport to sleep over for an early flight. The room met our needs, was clean and comfortable and had lovely restaurants in the area where we could have dinner. Check in and out was effortless.

The hotel was close to the River Rhine: there runs a lovely walk along the Rhine under mature trees, so it's shady and comfortable, with really nice views, it's inviting to sit and watch the ships go by, large meadow areas for children to play the town has all facilities, plenty of different shops in the pedestrianised road running from the station to the market square, restaurants, cafe's, ice cream parlours

Seeing the old places which I love and the house where my aunt and later,also my grandmother lived. Like to visit the hyper markets and the many parks and most of course,Burg Linn,the castle. Nice to walk beside the Rhein and to visit the Zoo.
