I stayed for 5 nights during a business trip, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel was very clean, and the location was perfect. It was close to the Christmas market, shopping streets, and Cologne Cathedral, making it very convenient to explore the area. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made my stay even more comfortable.

Is family run and you can feel the warmness and attention to detail. Everything is new and you can see the effort put into this place. My boyfriend forgot his toothbrush and the people in the front desk were super lovely to point out to where we could get one so late in the night. It is very well connected through public transportation but no so in the center so you can enjoy of a quiet resting night. Overall a lovely experience and would stay there again

brand new facility: everything including the building itself is new (a staff said it opened on 2025-02-04). Thus cleanest facilities I have experienced! good location: only a few minute walk from S-Bahn station. From the train station it takes less than 20 min to reach Cologne central station by S-Bahn. Nice chilled out city.

Nice chilled out city. Old town is easy to navigate and the cathedral is worth visiting. Rhine river area is pleasant with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. A couple of days/ weekend is perfect to catch the sights.

We traveled to Cologne by train.

We traveled to Cologne by train. The rail system is easy to navigate and we stayed within walking distance of the station. The Cathedral is amazing and there is a large shopping precinct. We enjoyed sitting at a riverside bar, watching the passing parade. There are excellent restaurants too. Our favourite was a Viet Thai restaurant.

A nice, vibrant city, very good service in almost all the places we've been. Not many tourist attractions or monuments etc which make the staying less stressful to catch up with all the 'must see' places. Very easy to walk around, nice promenade and views of the river. A very nice city for a couple of days, if you want something not boring but not 'too much" either.

We really enjoyed Cologne!

We really enjoyed Cologne! It is a beautiful and atmospheric city with charming streets, impressive architecture, the magnificent cathedral and a lovely riverside promenade. The people were warm and friendly, and we also enjoyed the cosy cafés and delicious food. We would happily visit Cologne again!

There was such a variety of places to eat and drink. The transport in the city was excellent and value for money. To be able to walk along the Rhine in either direction for Kms was a lovely experience.

A 2.5hours walking tour was excellent, and covered the Old City well. Most of the time was spent listening to the guide, so no long-distance walking! Koln has lot of character, developed through some of the heaviest bombing of WW2, and resulting in informal 'bomb parties' when - as regularly happens - development turns up old munitions. In addition, the Carnival season runs more-or-less from November through to Mardi Gras, which together with a young population gives the city a vigorous air despite its ancient history going back to the Romans (Cologne derives from Colony). They are fiercely proud of their slightly hoppy beer, and have various regulations around its brewing and consumption. Lots of restaurants. Ethnically mixed, with a particularly large Turkish/German community - sometimes feels a bit like new York. The riverside near the Cathedral is delightful, especially in the evening, with loads of restaurants and great people-watching.

Great little hotel located along the banks of the Rhine. Very close to main tourist attractions and the city centre for shopping. Staff were very pleasant and breakfast was buffet style with a good range of foods. The single room was a perfect size for 1 person and was clean and warm. There's no lift (which personally didn't bother me) just in case you have a lot of luggage, though i did see members of staff helping with luggage upstairs. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay here again if in Cologne

The hotel is located close enough to the centre of Cologne, a very nice location and close to restaurants and bars. It is only 15 to 20 minutes walk into the centre. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and provide everything you are likely to need, including a decent coffee (pod) machine. The breakfast are possibly the best I have ever had in a hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful.

My second stay at this hotel and it was once again wonderful. A shoutout to the staff, the staff goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. They give tips for food, tell about the history of the hotel and city and much more. It’s a small boutique hotel with nice modern rooms that have everything you need. Perfect location if you want to enjoy Cologne.
