This hotel is a good base to work from to visit Koln and surrounding area. Spot on Public Transport links. 161 Bus from just outside the Hotel connects you to the Airport or Porz Market. Use the App to buy your tickets. There is plenty of parking as well. I found my room large, clean and spacious. Most importantly, arriving on a freezing cold day. Warm! Found staff friendly. Would certainly go back.

Although we stayed in this hotel for just one night, my girlfriend and I liked it very much. First of all, I must mention about the staff's interest and kindness. During both our check-in and check-out process they were very helpful and kind. Also during the breakfast, it is the same for the staff there. i really recommend this hotel, the female at front desk was really nice and friendly i cant actually speak good german she was able to talk to me in english .the room and bathroom is clean.2 mins walk from bus stop and a convinience store is near by.it is near köln airport and bus is accesible if you want to go to köln cathedral.Next time ill visit köln ill definitely stay at this hotel again.

Small village, one needs a car to get around for food runs as there aren't any major supermarkets or bakeries.
Busy main street close by, but windows are sound-proof. All within the Koenigsforst, a large forest, so air quality is good, and there is plenty of hiking around. Public bus transportation is close, and it is very reliable and runs pretty frequently. A few good restaurants for the weekend city slicker invasions.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, and drinking water.
The location is quiet and perfect for families, with a grocery store, cafés, pizza place, fuel station, and a lovely swimming pool nearby.
Steffan was a fantastic host—very kind, responsive, and accommodating. We truly appreciated the late checkout.
Highly recommended! We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful suburb with friendly and hospitable people. On the few occasions that I lost my way or jumped out of the bus way before reaching my destination, passers-by came in handy, and listened patiently to my inquiries about direction. There is no doubt that the neighborhood is professionally planned and marked, with bus stops within distance of each other. I will miss Troisdorf and definitely visit again whenever there will be another opportunity to do so

The hotel is in a historic building on a hill surrounded by a natural park with walking paths and a children’s playground. You can view the sorrounding city from your hotel windows.
In the local market are many restaurants and many shops to choose from.
If you like space, this is the place to be.
Perfect for a personal or group retreat, prayer retreat or just a get-away.
The train station is 14 minutes walking slowly. To reach the hotel with luggage is a challenge and it’s better to arrive by car.
The building is expansive and you must enjoy making steps!! It is accessible to people with mobility challenges👍🏿

Very cute simple town with everything you need.
Very cute simple town with everything you need. Very close to cologne and a direct train that only takes 37minutes into down town. It ran every 30min on the Sunday we were there. Very walkable and friendly. Great views of the river and countryside.

Bergisch Gladbach and its very near neighbour Bensberg are both interesting to visit and with Cologne being only 20 minutes away on the (regular) tram there is plenty to explore and visit for an entire holiday!

We arrived by train on a Saturday afternoon and only stayed one evening, but Cologne had a really neat vibe and I'd like to go back some day. We arrived by train, admired the outside of the cathedral, and stayed at the Rhein Hotel St. Martin a few blocks away. Apart from the difficulty of pulling a roller suitcase across cobblestones, we really enjoyed reconnecting with friends and seeing the town with them and hoisting a few beers together. We had to be down to Nurburgring on Sunday at noon, so we didn't see as much of the city as I would have liked. The atmosphere outside our hotel felt almost like a festival, with many people out enjoying the riverside and live music.

Ok for a short stop off for a long journey. No evening restaurant so had to order Pizza takeaway. reception have a list of places to eat locally but how to get there is a different matter. Also it is hard to tell how good they are.

It was clean, comfortable and an interesting building. I slept well there having driven over 400 miles from Linz. The breakfast was outstanding. I was slightly confused by the key entry but soon sorted it out. Having a lift was helpful. The food in the service area where we had to eat was good and reasonably priced. And the staff there were jolly and helpful, especially when I asked for my bratwurst to be heated in the microwave!
