I thought it was a beautiful hotel. Great location and great staff.

Location was perfect for my business in Bonn. A very quiet and serene place. I liked it.

When I saw the word “ Motel”, I got scared but everything was very nice. The room was quiet small but you don’t live there, you just sleep for a couple of days. The bed was very comfortable and they give you 2 pillows ❤️

Amazing gardens, fantastic views from.room and cafeteria, great food (lunch and dinner buffet also available at reasonable prices!!). IMPEccably clean rooms, nicely renovated. Highly recommended - I already tried to book my next visit to Bonn, but it is oversubscribed! Book it if u find a free room!

The rooms had everything you might need. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient.

Good size rooms, nice breakfast, location outside of Bonn but lovely walk along the river. Facilities such as a bar, gym, pool all made the stay better

This hotel has an excellent location on the Rhine. Soft comfortable bed and a view to enjoy what's not to like. A great biergarten with very friendly staff and the Gobelin restaurant kept us well fed.

I come back to the Insel multiple times a year which says it all. Just great.

The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are lovely, if you like classic hotel styles, and mine included a good desk where I could work. The hotel is also right on the edge of a big forest. Also checkout was at midday which was very convenient.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Bonn city center and with access to the city market and nice variety of food trucks. The room was big and comfortable. Overall a nice place to stay.

We were given a room on the first floor, featuring a small loggia with beautiful stained-glass windows. The bed was comfortable, and the additional amenities—a coffee machine and a kettle—were very helpful. Right next to the hotel, there is a nice local bar offering drinks at reasonable prices, as well as several restaurants to choose from. For a short stay, this place is ideal.

Had everything we needed for an overnight. Good soap/shower facilities, hairdryer and fridge.

I loved the 70s luxurious vibe it had. Beds were so comfortable and staff were so accomodating of check in and check out times. They were also so kind to celebrate my honeymoon too!

Sometimes when you go to breakfast they only have hard boiled eggs and sometimes scrambled eggs. They not only had both but the scrambled eggs had scallions or green onions in them, making them just scrambled. The staff were nice and helpful. Helping us locate dinner that evening after traveling. I wish we had more time there but it was just one night.

The hotel has an excellent location, a super cool German-style building, and an amazing staff. I truly enjoyed my stay!
