A truly wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and decorated with great taste and attention to detail. The atmosphere is magical and incredibly relaxing. Daniela and Peter were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome, as did our dog. We only stayed for one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and special getaway.

Michael, the host was very accommodating. He left a small welcome basket of goodies and the apartment was decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way to Belgium, but the apartment was set up well, so that a longer stay would have been quite comfortable.

The room was comfortable and the dining hall cozy. The breakfast was good and there was enough space for parking. The fact that there is a beerhouse next to the hotel with very tasty local beer, was not secondary either.

We had very nice rooms at the backside of the building, completely quit with an outdoor area, motorcycles could be stored "downstairs" with easy access to our rooms for the luggage. Although it was quit busy (all table outside occupied) service was quick and correct and we had wonderful meals (and a nice drink of course). Also the breakfast (available horrible early :) ) was absolutely marvelous. Would consider this hotel for a stop during a next trip in this direction without a thought.

We stopped for the night in Merzig on our way to Austria. The location close to the high way was convenient. They were so kind to allow us to have a last-minute late dinner in the hotel (the food was very nice !). Breakfast was very good with lots of fresh food. Rooms were decent, excellent price-quality ratio.

Arrived at the place and the (lovely) host met us approx. 15 mins later to let us in and give us the key. Good value for money. Very clean and tidy (looks like it had been refurbished recently). Really comfortable beds. Had a kettle in the kitchen so we could make a decent cuppa (bought our own tea bags !). Also had a pod coffee machine with 6 pods. Bathroom was like a wet room and was fabulous. Decent secure parking at the rear of the property - we parked our motorbikes under cover out the back and locked them all together.
