Accommodation in Obermaiselstein

Everything was great! Very clean, great breakfast, spacious room, great views, the spa was amazing and all recently refurbished. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming!

This is the second time we have stayed here. Beautiful views, comfortable and clean room, nice breakfast and great host!

The hotel has a great staff. The room was simply wonderful—very clean, with a balcony overlooking the mountains, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel is in a great location.

The service was really fantastic, especially at the dinner.

The room was really pretty with a nice view, and the food at the restaurant was quite tasty. Spa was also quite good, with a jacuzzi on the rooftop.

Everything was awesome, delicious food and great location!

Perfect accomodation for out Xmas holiday. Mountains around the hotel and short distance to ski.

Very nice hotel with a spa and great views over the valley and the Alps, in plain contact with nature although close to the road and therefore well communicated. The room was big and comfortable, and had a nice balcony to enjoy the place. Highly recommendable, I will definitely come back. The staff was very helpful all the time as well.

Lovely hostess, cozy apartment, excellent pool

Spacious, clean, well equipped.

A really lovely guesthouse in the middle of beautiful Obermaiselstein. Cosy and clean with a super friendly and helpful owner who does everything to make her guests feel at home. It's a 5 minute walk to the bus stop from where regular buses take you up to the ski areas, or a 15 minute drive. This is a great place to stay.

Lovely new accommodation. Very spacious. spotlessly clean, modern yet still traditional Bavarian apt. It has one good sized bedroom with a large double bed and en-suite bathroom, a huge TV on the bedroom wall if you like that sort of thing. The adjoining lounge/diner has a sofa bed which we used as there were 3 of us. The kitchen is compact but modern and perfectly use-able. There's also a nice but small entrance hall which we used to store ski gloves and shoes over night and guests also have use of a boot/ski store downstairs in the main house. Of course you have a couple of nice balconies to sit out on and the traditional Bavarian dining corner suite which I love. The host - Claudia Brugger speaks good English and was very nice and helpful and lives in the adjacent apt, so if you need anything she is easy to get hold of. The village has a few Restaurants and some nice walks, it also has a mini Golf Course which has a small clubhouse which we visited one night for a beer and were welcomed whole heatedly by the locals. Most meals we took in neighbouring Oberstdorf which is only 15 mins drive away. One thing to note is that parking outside the apt is shared with other guests and the owners so on the odd occasion someone may have to park around the corner in the car park below the Church. Its only about 50m away if that and is no issue at all. Overall, I loved our stay here and would return again.

Property is located in a nice region surrounded by scenic landscapes and perfect access to the bus. Rooms are perfectly clean and in the balcony you could enjoy mountains view arounds. Breakfast is wonderful and Schmid family are so hospitable and welcomed.
