In this hotel staff really care about guests’ comfort and do their best to make everyone feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was rich and tasty, and the Christmas buffet was exceptional!

We requested a dog-friendly room and were thrilled to find one that opened directly onto a patio and the pristine gardens. Our dog loved being able to step straight outside. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for us. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to explore the hotel’s spa areas. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of dishes to enjoy. The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was plenty of parking. The gardens were vibrant and well-maintained, and we enjoyed a lovely morning stroll before the unfortunate moment of leaving.

The hotel, run by family, is warm and cozy. You feel home right away. Dogs are welcome and the service is outstanding. The surroundings are beautiful. We highly recommend the junior suite. You can hear the birds chirping and the sound of the creek.

The apartment was very nice and cozy, all necessities were there. Very quiet and relaxing place with an easy parking spot right next to it. We absolutely loved the black forest feeling and vibe that we could enjoy from the perfectly placed balcony. Situated well, at driving distance from a lot of hikes and places to visit. Highly recommended! Be aware that there will be a spa tax to pay extra (2€ per person per night). Thank you for your hospitality Dieter and Evelyn!

Very clean, beautiful nature, pleasant host, proximity of grocery store

Perfect base to explore the Rench Valley, including many and varied walks through the Black Forest. The property is in the heart of Oppenau, not far from the train station, supermarket and cafes. Many hours can be enjoyably spent on the balcony watching the world go by.

It was a very nice stay with our 2 y.o. son. This Ferienwohnung is really suitable for that - child chair, bathtub, owner provided a crib, but we just used the bed in other room. There was everythiing we need. Host is friendly and helpful. Location is also great to spend time with the child. Oppenau is a very nice tiny quiet place in Schwarzwald - just 15 min by car to the Allerheiligen waterfall, ~35 min by car to Alternative Wolf and Bear Park Black Forest (which is absolutely great to visit), and nice town Oberkirch is also in 10-15 min drive.

Great location, plenty to do and visit in surrounding area. Beautiful views. Apartment had everything we needed. Owners live downstairs, they are friendly and welcoming. We got great tips on where to walk and cycle. We could store our bikes in their garage, had off street parking, and electric car charger (for a fee) There was a heatwave during our stay but apartment has shutters which kept it cool. It’s great to have the guest card and we used the two local pools for free.

The apartment was above any expectations: spacious, comfortable, clean, cozy, large terrace. Situated on the edge of the town, but still on the short distance from the historical center (which means, grocery and restaurants). Several pleasant hiking trails around at the available distances. Beatiful view just from the window.

This large apartment was a spacious, comfortable, and clean. Set in a fantastic location, the view from the private balcony was spectacular. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, we had fresh bread delivered to our door daily which was baked directly beneath us and we were able to purchase supplies from the farm shop. We especially enjoyed the wonderful BBQ selection which we cooked in the glorious sun. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee machine full of fresh beans was much appreciated. We travelled on motorbikes and were able to keep these under cover in one of the barns which was most appreciated.
