It was the best hotel I've ever stayed at for such an affordable price. The room had a comfortable and big bed, TV, desk, armchair, and even a children's room with a small bed for family trips. The bathroom was very clean and nice. Breakfast was included in the price and they really did serve a great breakfast and what's more, it was open until 10:30. It's a 5-minute walk to the airport. The staff were very kind and understanding. We stayed about 30 minutes longer than check-out time because we were packing our bags and they didn't mind. They said it's okay as long as you call next time and let us know you'll be late. In short, it's the most kind staff I've ever stayed at in Germany and the most affordable hotel despite being so close to the airport. We especially thank the gentleman at the reception who welcomed us for being patient and kind despite the large number of customers and the curly-haired lady at the reception when we left.

Yes, I would stay here again. Primary was the location to the airport for a morning flight the next day. Having a shuttle was important to get to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, The hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied in the morning. We did not find a restaurant within walking distance, but there were many restaurants that would deliver. This was a Sunday night.

The nearby town of Esslingen was much more interesting. I understand Ostfildern was heavily damaged during the war, so doesn't have the charming medieval buildings and streets of Esslingen. We did visit the Ostfildern cemetery which was interesting, but all in all, not much in the town itself. I did have a terrific trout dinner at the hotel though!

This is the most welcoming hotel, ever! We felt like royalty, even our dog would find bags of treats for her every few days. We highly recommend this hotel! It's in a small town, but close to everything. We actually came back a second time during our pcs, after taking one last trip for a few days. Each stay, we extended for a couple of days, and were made to feel like "our friends" were happy to be able to keep us for a little longer. We have never experienced such a warm, welcoming hotel! 10 stars out of 5!!!

We spent a few days around the New Year's eve. It was very disappointing to be in the center of Stuttgart on Silvester Nacht. There was no organization of a concert or lighting shows etc. but a lot of Polizei around. I understand the ban of fire works but why don't we have music, lights and a countdown to new year? Small towns like Tübingen and Heidelberg are much better than central Stuttgart.

Charming small town close to Stuttgart and a plus for wine lovers! We visited the Kessler wine cellar and Einhorn restaurant (wine cellar) which were excellent. If you are looking for a place to stay while attending the Cannstatter Volksfest or Spring festival at the Wassen then this town has excellent advantages as well. The train station is one exit removed from the Wassen station next to the festival grounds.

The Porsche Museum is a must see!
The Porsche Museum is a must see! Visited Stuttgart during the Christmas Market. It was one of the busiest markets we went to and the streets were filled with people having a great time. The train station is under construction so there was a learning curve in navigating the temporary tunnels and levels of the station.
